What patients say on Google

“I met with Dr George Issac who did not once ask if i had any recent triggers contributing to my symptoms before telling me i needed more help and needed a hospital. telling me that im wrong and that he has years of experience and has read enough literature to know what i have. seemed to not have read my intake because it had enough information to at least explain what i have. did not listen when i explained to him what was going on. told me he didn’t care that i was disagreeing with him. do not recommend.”

“I had a deeply disappointing experience with this psychiatrist (Martha Alzamora). During one of my appointments—time that I was paying for—she asked me to call her family member so she could use me as an example to warn him about the effects of marijuana. This was completely inappropriate, invasive, and unprofessional. My session was derailed for her personal agenda, which made me feel used and disrespected. Additionally, I became increasingly concerned that her prescribing practices were more focused on ensuring patients continued to return rather than providing thoughtful, individualized care. It felt more like a business strategy than medical treatment. I would strongly caution anyone considering treatment here. Mental health care should be ethical, focused, and respectful—and this was the opposite.”

“They are very annoying psychiatrists. The first and second doctors were very good and my sleep improved significantly. The third time, I changed to a practicing nurse who gave me time realse. After I finished taking it, my mood was like a roller coaster and I had suicidal thoughts. I dumped it in the toilet and sent a text message to the front desk, who called 911. Two police cars and an ambulance came and forcibly sent me to the hospital. My husband took me home. After that, I dared not take this kind of psychiatric drug anymore.😭😭😭😭😭”

“I’ve been seeing Dr. Alzamora since she was in a different practice in Baldwin, about four years ago. From the first visit, I knew she was a great psychiatrist by the way she treated me. She is always professional, thorough, collected, and dedicated. In a way, she is an inspiration for me to be mentally healthy. I cannot thank her and her team enough for the help they’ve given me over the years. Jen is an NP that is newer to the practice and she is phenomenal as well. I look forward to our visits because she is positive, extremely compassionate, and easy to talk to! I hope this review helps others who are struggling to find the services they need because this office will certainly provide that. From the relaxing environment of the waiting room, to the excellent care, and variety of services provided, this practice is a true gem in the psychiatric world.”
