What patients say on Google

“NAMI Hancock County is an amazing local resource for our community. They provide educational resources, including classes, not only for those affected by mental illness but also for their loved ones. In addition, their support groups are an excellent way to connect with others and receive the emotional support that many people dealing with mental health struggles need, to feel and know they are not alone. They offer many activities, support groups, classes, and resources, at no cost to the participants. As a trained group facilitator and current board member, I have seen firsthand the wonderful connections the amazing staff members and countless volunteers make to help make Hancock County a better place to live. If you would like to support NAMI Hancock County, consider participating in the annual Color Me Happy Walk & 5K Run, a FUN fundraising event held annually each May (see my photos). I highly recommend that anyone interested in their services check out their website, give the office a call, or visit their office. Mental health is health, and NAMI Hancock County is here to help.”

“I am thankful for the education, advocacy, and peer programs offered by NAMI. They offer a judgement free atmosphere and walk alongside those experiencing mental health challenges for both the individuals and the family members. I have learned so much by participating in the family-to-family class.”
