How likely are you to recommend Murphy, Urban & Associates?
What patients say on Google
“Did not come to court when subpoenaed on behalf of a minor client, also insulted a disabled minor and claimed a cognitive impairment of the client that was not documented nor tested for and claimed that their unfounded presumption of cognitive impairment disqualified the disabled minor from receiving CBT, despite what is listed in the DSM-V as applicable services for that clients disability. When asked for a referral to a therapist who could provide CBT for this client they were unable to list any providers. The same disabled minor was able to receive CBT at another local center, ran by a professional previously associated with this same practice and the client graduated from services a year earlier than initially predicted by the new therapist at intake. The therapist at the new center advocated that the client spend more time being educated with non disabled peers because of the same clients excellent cognitive abilities. I would not recommend this service to parents.”
“Dr Rea is the best psychologist I've been to in 3 states. He's the most caring mental health professional and he makes me feel safe and comfortable to talk about anything on my mind. 1000/5 stars. Amazing staff in general.”
“The counselors provide services for basic mental health issues and needs. However, for specialized things that have happened in a person’s life, the counselor (s) is unable to recommend alternative solutions or referr you to a better provider. If triggers occur, the counselor is unable to understand why you are experiencing triggers and from my experience, points the finger back at you asking you to do better with emotional and mental control. PTSD, judicial system failures, etc.”
“Love Dr. Murphy. He gives me a different outlook to things I would normally not think of. He also recommended for me to go on some medication after about a year, which was a great decision. Very happy with their services. The workers at the front counter always do a great job as well in answering the phones and any questions you may have. They really follow through for you, which I appreciate. I will happily go back.”
