“Poor communication and unprofessional handling of Medicaid patients. I initially had a positive impression of Dr. Amy; she was kind during my first visit and agreed to see me even though there was a discrepancy with how the state pays her for BCBS Community Health Plans. I even agreed to pay her out-of-pocket rate for future visits because finding a PCP is so difficult. ​However, the follow-up care has been unacceptable. The receptionist was dismissive and made me feel discriminated against the moment my insurance was mentioned, even referring to me as "the girl with the medical card." Most importantly, I have been waiting since March 18th for my Quest blood work results. Despite a texr follow-up, it is now April 16th and I have received zero communication or acknowledgement. Seeking basic medical answers shouldn't feel like a burden to a provider's office. I would not recommend this office if you expect professional follow-up or have state-funded insurance. 4/18/2026 The owner provided a generic response here, yet I still have not been contacted with my March 18th blood work results. What a JOKE! At this point, I am no longer interested in a phone call or an apology (which I doubt was coming anyway). The lack of follow-up on critical medical tests and the dismissive treatment regarding my insurance have made it clear where this office’s priorities lie. I will be obtaining my results through other channels and reporting this experience to the insurance board. If you have state insurance, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for professional care.”

She is so knowledgeable across a wide range of medical topics, yet more than willing to point a patient to another specialist anywhere that may be the best course. You can tell how passionate she is about helping people on their wellness journeys, and that she loves what she does. Her confidence, and thoroughness, gave me confidence. She makes you feel comfortable quickly with her positive warm demeanor, and attentiveness. I was not very happy with my primary care physician for sometime, but hesitated to change.
