What patients say on Google
“They actually fired my therapist over some superficial, unverified nonsense from random strangers on the internet 💀. Are you kidding me? That’s right, they completely dismissed solid, professional care just because a few dolts decided to drop a complaint with no proof. And when my therapist did work there, the front desk kept misgendering my therapist, showing zero respect or basic decency. This is beyond infuriating.”
“Not happy with this place at the moment I got my daughter which is 13 into this place and yesterday was her third time going her therapist asked my daughter how her dad passed away and my daughter said she didn't know which the therapist already knew I told her and she's going to Google his name right in front of my daughter I feel she had no right to do that then I guess she asked my daughter how many siblings she had and she told her she had a sister from me and half sisters and brothers from her dad and her therapist said that's weird. No what's weird is u being nosy and looking stuff up on Google. I tried to call her boss three times today and her boss doesn't want to return my phone call”
“I have only gone to MPA for about 3 months but i promise you that i will never come back. I had Tracey as a therapist who apparently deals with children and family problems. Every session i have gone to she has always made me feel uncomfortable. Well today was the last straw for me. i am 17 years old and i was talking to her about family problems. she then interrupted me and told me i should stop talking about my abusers because it won’t change anything. I have also been going through gender services to transition. I was talking to her about my struggles as a trans person and how i feel its to the point i can’t express myself and on the fence about just staying in the closet. She responded by telling me many people staying in the closet their whole lives and it is an option to do. I also have a girlfriend of 2 years who recently moved in with me because of family issues. Tracey told me that “It doesn’t sound realistic that your parents allowed her to stay. Did you even talk about it with them?” For a matter of fact my parents welcomed my girlfriend with open arms into our house. The worst part of it all was about 30 mins through i couldn’t deal with being targeted by someone who is supposed to help me. I told her i was going to leave and she told me all my mental services including gender services will be shut off if i leave. She shouldn’t be working with family problems if she can’t handle it.”
“It’s been a few years since I been to this place, about 6 or 7 years. This morning, I was sitting here reflecting on what I like to call my healing journey. Found myself wondering where my two therapist, who don’t even know how much they’ve helped me are at today in their journeys. So figured to write a review as finding the help I didn’t know I needed when I first walked into this place, has been one of the biggest contributors to my healing journey. I am now a recovering alcoholic, I now own my home, I now have a better relationship with my husband, I also have custody of my son. Though I still have days, and I’ll never be completely free of my traumas and triggers… my two therapists who worked with me did a fantastic job on teaching me techniques to help me get through what I call my spazz moments. I may get knocked down, but I’m capable of bouncing back up a lot sooner and in more healthy way than I was able to 7 years ago. Not sure if these two still work here, but if you do I sure hope you see this. Thank you! 💚”
