What patients say on Google
“Horrific experience. Booked an appt online Friday at 3pm for Monday at 3pm. Filled out the necessary online documents, uploaded insurance, drove 40min and showed up 30 min early. When I arrived, they proceeded to explain that my appointment was a “request” and that because I am already medicated for my ADHD they would need specific docs from my doctor. I explained I was there for my severe depression and looking for help, that I wasn’t there for ADHD needs but could get those docs no problem. Apparently that wasn’t sufficient, either. After a lot more word fumbling about “policies” (even mentioning at one point I’d need my PARENT or GUARDIAN to sign something - I’m a 34yr old woman) they went to see if the Dr was available (how could they not be? I reserved the OPEN appt spot online). They then came back and said there wasn’t availability and I would have to come back Friday. I cannot BELIEVE this is supposed to be a safe place for people who are suffering mentally. Unbelievably horrible experience and would not recommend this place to anyone.”
“In reference to a study they are conducting: I drove quite far to see these people in person. It was 2 hours of my time, not to mention gas. After reviewing my current medications, I was informed I didn’t qualify. I got nothing for my time or gas. Seems to me, they could vet potential candidates over the phone. I wouldn’t recommend participating in a study with them unless you live close by.”
“This was my first time seeing a psychiatrist as I needed more expertise to treat my depression/ADHD/PTSD. I was very nervous, but Dr. Italiya was kind and welcoming which put me at ease. I appreciate that he never is in a “rush”, but he is always punctual. If you send a message in the portal he is quick to respond as well! He is knowledgeable and I feel confident in the treatment plan.”
“I was super nervous about the entire day and process of speaking with someone. But everyone was very kind and helpful. Dr. Jay Italiya was very welcoming and kind. He has a nice vibe and a calming sense around him. The staff was kind and considerate.”
