How likely are you to recommend Montgomery Area Psychiatric Services?
What patients say on Google
“Yes I waited a whole month And I actually needed the help and I get down there they take my money and then tell me they can't help me cause I'm on narcotics but not a nerve medication and they told me that was why they can't help me. Lastly it's been 8 days since and still haven't got my money back. It's amazing how Alabama or especially Montgomery is when it comes to predjudice cause that's how I felt and it's absolutely wrong what they did to me.”
“Very poor communication there and they don't get back to you! I tried at least 3 times to have one prescription changed and they never got back to me!!”
“The providers are good but the office is not. They told me they would let me know if I was approved as a returning patient twice over the phone and once in person, each time promising a call back, only for me to find out months later the dr was never accepting patients during this time in the first place. I have experienced multiple mental health crisis and the time I was waiting for anyone in this office to care I could have been finding a new doctor.”
“I have been with this office for 4 years and a patient of Dr. Abolade the whole time. Never asked about changing my meds. I took a doctor recommended (by my PCP) genetics test called genesight specifically for mental health medications as I've been wanting to change my meds and have been terrified to do so. After getting the results, I finally felt confident to talk with my psych about changing my meds. After bringing it up with him, he cut me off and told me he didn't respond to that and wouodnt listen to me and that he would give me enough refills on my current meds to find a new psych and disconnected the call. This has been stressing me out for a while and I will be finding a new psych.”
