What patients say on Google

“Staff members share PHI on the clients as well as taking pictures of the clients without their knowledge or consent and sending those pictures to random people. This is a vulnerable population of people that receive services. My friend has already contacted the appropriate people, at Monarch, but nothing was done so now it's being taken to the next level. So just know that if your loved one receives services they are not protected. Take your business somewhere else”

“There is lack of staff! Big turnover. Poor quality in food being served. I scheduled a doctors appointment for my son and had to cancel because he had to ride the van to take another client to a dentist appoint. My son wouldn't have been back in time for me to pick him up. There should be staff at the group home at all times for situations such as this or have a back up staff. I have called Monarch and spoke to the VP. I was told she would be back in touch. That was 2 months ago.”

“this place is a total JOKE, i can never get my son's refills on his meds in a timely manner. they have one nurse that handles 2 locations. I go through this every other month. it is so annoying. i have to call 4 and 5 times before my requests are taken care of. I would advise you to use a different location or doc all together.”

“Monarch at one time was an amazing place. Not anymore!! My husband and I went for services that are needed. We waited 8 hrs on day one for him to see a therapist. And 7 hrs on day 2 to see a dr. They did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for him. He was suppose to return and when we did on his appointment they said he would have to wait again and even may not be seen. Their excuse was they had no doctors and would have to be considered a walk in EVERYTIME and wait all day OR drive 2 hrs to Gastonia to be seen. He has insurance that covers 100 percent of all mental health visits. We quit going because I have a job and he can't drive so I take him. I cant wait all day everytime he needs to be seen. Also when he seen the dr it is done on a t.v. screen and it is loud that people in the hall can hear. What about privacy? They do not respect HIPPA there. He hated the tv screen. One its so loud. Two its hard to understand someone when the screen keeps cutting out when he talked low they couldnt hear him and he had to get louder and people in the hall could hear. Three he had no clue if anyone on the other side was in the room. Totally not confidential at all!! And now even though his insurance covers 100 percent of mental health needs and they did not one thing for him we are getting bills for 40.00! EVERYTIME i tri to call the woman to discuss the bill it goes to voicemail and no return calls. She sends a letter saying hestill owes! The insurance comapny told me he never pays for mental health they pay it all and the lady that done his intake paper work the day we sat 8 hrs also said he was covered and wouldn't have a copay. This place is stressful. My husband needs mental health treatment and they have done nothing but add stress to his life. This place is why people do not seek mental health help because of the lies and stress. The suicide rate in this country is so high and of all people they should want to help but they don't. This place is a joke now. They need to tighten up and get it together!!”
