What patients say on Google
“Monarch is by far a life saver and angel to my granddaughters needs. She almost succeeded in taking her life on Dec. 13th. She was on life support for almost 3 weeks and in the hospital for 6 weeks. Then rehab for 2 week. These facilities did an outstanding job. When released and was advised to go to Daymark in Salisbury we waited as told for a call. After a week no call so I called them. The said I would have to come in and they'd do the assessment on her per her medical records from the other facilities she had been in, that they had tried to call. NO call or voicemail from them. We went to have the assessment completed the next day and they said they would call to set up the appointments for her counselor and psychiatrist in a day or so. No call or voicemail after a week. I called and their response was I'll have someone to contact you. This went on for 3 weeks and I still had not heard from them after calling every couple days. I was so upset. It's like they threw her out for the dogs for a repeat issue and her meds where running out. I decide to call Monarch in Albemarle and what a God sent they were. The lady told me to come in the next day. We were there at 8:30 that morning and left at 10:30. In 2 hours they had assessed her, had appointments set up for the next week for her counselor and psychiatrist. The lady at the front desk-Devin, I think was her name helping me was wonderful and cared about what was going on with my granddaughter. Monarch is by far the place to go. They are caring, passionate and on top of the issues you have going on. Thank you so much for being my granddaughters Angel.”
“Monarch has really been there for me. The staff is so polite and friendly. Dr. McHale is a wonderful Dr. He listens to you and responds back politely and quickly. He understands you and your problems. I wouldn't trade any of this for anything in the world 🌍. Thank you everyone at monarch for what you do. Keep up the good work.”
“My granddaughter was in the hospital on a vent for 3 weeks in December, stayed in the hospital for 7 weeks then inpatient treatment for 2 weeks for overdose trying to end her life. She was released the first of Feb. and was instructed to start a treatment plan through Daymark, Salisbury. We went and had an assessment completed and they were to contact me for a outpatient treatment plan. They never called so i called to have it transferred to the Albemarle location. No calls. Here it is March after me making numerous, numerous calls and being told someone would call me back each time, No call from anyone and she was almost out of her meds, so Daymark just threw her out to the dogs. Not concern about here I decided to call Monarch in Albemarle and all I can say is WOW. They immediately led me in the right direction on what to do for meds and to come to their facility the next day to start a treatment plan. She now has her assessment, counseling appointment and psychiatrist appointment made the next day I took her in. Thank you Jesus. The staff member that made this happen so quickly is Devin-OA. She is an angel and very understanding. I thank her and Monarch for caring about mental health and their patients. Never will I ever refer Daymark, but Monarch is top of the line by far and so is Devin.💓”
“Our 1st appointment was with Dr. McHale. He was very patient and kind. Thanks to him we will continue to receive services from Monarch, especially him.”
