What patients say on Google
“Dr. Lal refused to see me because my health insurance does not cover outpatient mental health. I explained my situation thoroughly to the receptionist when I made the appointment, but I was denied when I got there which is very unprofessional. Her office staff never answer their phones. I called them 3 times on 3 separate days and no one answered the phone. I needed refills on my prescriptions because I was going to run out soon. You can't get a hold of them in an emergency which should be a top priority for mental health staff. Bottom line: see another psychiatrist that is not a part of the Palos Group.”
“Very unprofessional Psychatrist.. didn’t even bother to see my son in the emergency room like a professional doctor normally does and talk with me his mother who knows him better then anyone else in the world.. she made his mental health worse with his ptsd and Aspergers she failed to do her job properly especially by not doing a psychological evaluation/assessment and taking an assumption that he required inpatient treatment for behavioral health when he doesn’t.. he’s not currently suicidal or homicidal if anything her decisions made him worse. The most incompetent psychiatrist I have ever known about and her treatment is poor and unqualified. Just being a doctor doesn’t automatically mean they can make you better.. a doctor can literally cure you or kill you that’s why there’s medical malpractice.”
“I’ve always had good experiences with Dr. Lal. She has always responded to my messages quickly.”
“She Is great, but does not return calls.impossible to get in touch with when needed. Going to the ER can not be the only answer.”
