What patients say on Google

“I’ve had an okay experience until today. I had them call to schedule an appt and they said since it was scheduled for the next day that was also confirmation of the appt. Then proceeded to tell me since I “missed” the appt they want to charge me $100! I was away from my phone and missed the call by 5 mins!! Not to mention they charge for every little thing. What a joke! Very upsetting considering I actually liked the PA I was working with.”

“0/0 stars - Worst doctor I have ever been to. Did not listen to what I was telling him and went ahead and treated me in the way he wanted to regardless of what I said. He bulldozed over anything I said, going so far as to say I did not have ADHD (which is why I started to see him), for him to say all I had was anxiety. Then pushed to have TMS treatment despite telling me I didn't have depression, only anxiety. Yes, I did the TMS anyway... I had been working with the PA who started me on depression and ADHD medication, then after months of working with her with positive results, I had a random NP do my follow up appointment and she told the doctor I was having issues. He got on the phone and tried to tell me my depression was so severe that he wanted me to go to the HOSPITAL for a 72-hour hold. Of course my depression was bad, YOU WEREN'T LISTENING TO ME and tried to gaslight me! I was fine with the PA I was working with, she seemed to be trying to help but could only do so much under him. My new doctor though? Fantastic. Turns out I have Autism and ADHD! Funny how Ahmed missed it. Do not trust this doctor. All he does is push his own agenda, and push for a procedure that DOES NOT WORK so he can get paid more money.”

“I was referred to Dr. Mohammad Ahmed by my primary care doctor. He gave really good reviews so I decided to look into scheduling an appointment with the facility. My original appointment was set for Friday 9/6/24 online. I called the office(BAYTOWN) because I did not receive a follow up call. From there the lady I spoke with was kinda rude but I got through the call and the call ended ok. The summary of the call was to clarify my visit and to give information on insurance which I told her I have TriCare as my primary and Cigna as my secondary. BECAUSE she was unsure of the information she was giving me she told me they only accepted TRICARE STANDARD. (I have TriCare select; the wording on my health coverage letter) Because she was unsure and gave misleading information she verified my Cigna insurance! The day before my appointment the rep called to confirm my appointment and let me know if a $300+ co pay. I did tell her the insurance that was verified was WRONG and told her I will give her a call back because she wanted me to give her my insurance information AGAIN and the 1800 number to TriCare.(Military insurance is different then regular insurance, there is NO 1800 on our military ID card like their is on other medical insurance cards) From there I felt over worked and as if I’m doing there job for them and asked why is it that I have to provide this information this is what y’all are getting paid for, she replied “there is no need to get an attitude with me I’m on the line now and trying to help” from that point on I seen that this facility cares more about their self than the business. The representative took the call personal instead of business wise and for the practices needs to provide for their patients! I then called to speak with a manager (WEBSTER office) which was helpful for the most part, she got everything verified but before she concluded the call she stated she would have to get approval from Dr. Ahmed to see me because I cursed at the prior representative who was rude and stepped out of her customer representative role to get personal. This shows me this facility and Dr. Mohammad Ahmed are money hungry and about money than helping individuals as stated within the ”about” section of the site! This is why we have so many people in the world today reacting before the speak or acting off emotions because those who are supposed to be a HELP beat us down even more or out to get the money. Please stop letting your paychecks get to your head and do things you enjoy! If you don’t enjoy helping those in need find a different job. “The money is the root of all evil””

“Dr. Ahmed wanted to get me into inpatient treatment at a mental hospital after speaking to me for a total of maybe twelve minutes. I was not a danger to myself or to others, there is zero reason for me to be admitted, and my therapist (of 4 years who I trust with my life) found it "very concerning" that Ahmed was so gung-ho about admitting me despite barely talking to me, me not being actively suicidal, and there being a plethora of options that should have been looked into before suggesting I admit myself. BEWARE of this doctor and his propensity to try to admit patients to mental hospitals who do not need it! If you read other reviews you will see that this happens a lot which is a HUGE RED FLAG. I do not recommend Dr. Ahmed whatsoever.”
