What patients say on Google

“The front desk staff were exceptionally kind, welcoming, and professional, and I truly appreciated their positive attitude. Unfortunately, my experience with the physician was disappointing. I scheduled a routine wellness visit to establish care, but I did not feel that the appointment was thorough or patient-centered. The entire visit with the physician lasted five minutes or less, leaving very little opportunity to discuss my overall health or ask questions. There were no conversations about my lifestyle habits, such as sleep, nutrition, exercise, or women’s health, which I had expected during an initial wellness visit. I respectfully declined standard blood work due to personal reasons and explained that I was willing to explore alternative testing methods or work collaboratively on an approach that I felt comfortable with. Rather than discussing those options, my suggestion was met with what felt like a dismissive response, and I was told that alternative methods would not provide meaningful information. From that point forward, I was left with the impression that my refusal of blood work became the primary focus of the visit. I genuinely felt that I was treated differently because I declined the testing, and that my concerns and overall health were no longer given meaningful attention. Instead of discussing other aspects of my health or working together on a plan of care, the appointment ended quickly. Throughout the visit, I felt that my concerns were dismissed and that the interaction was rushed and unwelcoming. At the conclusion of the appointment, I was simply told, “You can go,” before I had even finished gathering my belongings, which left me feeling hurried out of the exam room. I understand that physicians have medical standards and recommendations they follow, and I respect the importance of blood work in preventive care. However, I also believe patients deserve to be treated with respect, compassion, and a willingness to engage in meaningful discussion, even when they decline a recommended test. I left the appointment feeling discouraged rather than supported, which was disappointing for what I had hoped would be the beginning of a long-term patient-provider relationship.”
