“I previously left a very positive review after being under Dr. Missimo’s care for nearly 10 years. Unfortunately, my recent experience has significantly changed my perspective. Over time, appointments became extremely brief — often limited to 5-minute phone check-ins that felt rushed and lacked meaningful assessment, despite substantial cost. There was little in-depth discussion of mood changes or proactive monitoring. As a long-term patient with a serious mental health condition, I expected more thorough oversight. I ultimately entered a full manic episode that went unrecognized until I required hospitalization. After a decade of care, this was deeply concerning and disappointing.
