How likely are you to recommend Mindpath Health Psychiatrists & Therapists - Wilmington?
What patients say on Google
“All I can say is I have gotten better in the year and half since I have been seeing my therapist. It is always good to have some impartial to have someone listen to you and provide feedback when necessary. I've learned to love myself again, not give to everyone because its impossible and to stop and breath. If you ever need a place they are definitely one i would recommend. You will not be disappointed if see them. Laura Young was wonderful and in Wilmington. All people should consider taking care of your mental health we all need too.”
“Elizabeth has been super helpful and kind. She also provides a safe atmosphere and more education on medications than prior providers I've seen. She has changed my opinion of medication management providers for the better. Glad to have made the switch to Mindpath and Elizabeth. 😄”
“I really liked my psychiatrist. She was great and understanding. But I struggle with ADHD, and that means I sometimes miss appointments…not because I don’t care, but because my forgetfulness can be truly debilitating. I sought help here for exactly this reason: to get support with my mental health challenges. This makes it especially disheartening that I was terminated from care for missing appointments. Mental health struggles often make it hard for people to show up consistently, and I thought this facility would understand that. My therapist encourages me to be kind to myself, but it’s hard to do when the policy here essentially labels me as irresponsible rather than seeing my struggles as part of my disability. I’m not irresponsible; I’m disabled, and this policy feels cruel toward people who need help the most. I’m a full-time nursing student, working hard to pay rent, and constantly fighting just to take care of myself… and stay alive…I thought this was a safe place with patient-centered policies, but this experience has made me feel ashamed and undeserving of help. I sincerely hope this facility reconsiders its approach to supporting patients with neurodivergent needs. I’m sure I’m not alone in this sentiment.”
“I had my initial new patient visit, the therapist Michelle did not know who I was- asked how I'd been since last visit, and when I'd told her it was my first visit and we had never met, asked if I went by Amy? Its Courtney. Honestly it didn't give much confidence that she was in the right chart or had reviewed anything I had to submit about myself prior to the visit. We had to review all my intake paperwork which was fine, and that took almost the entire visit, but when she asked questions, did not seem to be listening much of the time- would ask me the same thing I'd already said a minute or two later. She was nice enough as a person but I don't intend to have a second or subsequent visit.”
