“Doctor Laura Lockwood changed my life for the better, in a million ways. From our first visit, I felt comfortable and HEARD. She let me cry and cuss and ramble, and somehow from that WE managed to make a battle plan for fighting this ugly version of myself! Emphasis on the “we” because she ALWAYS was adamant about making sure I was comfortable and knew the inner goals of my treatment plans. I’ve never felt SO validated by a mental health professional, and I’ve had some good ones! Dr. Lockwood just has that *something* that can not be taught. Compassion, and her amazing ability to genuinely connect. I will be eternally grateful that God brought her into my life when I felt like there was no way I could ever find my joy again.
