What patients say on Google

“I have an awesome therapist. Melissa is great and doing a great job with helping me through a difficult time in my life. She is so kind and supportive. Without her I would be in a bad place mentally, but with time and guidance from Melissa I am getting better. Thank you Melissa for all you have done for me.”

“I actually didn't have a good experience at Mindpath like all the other reviews. I actually had heard not so good things before I received services too but went with it because I didn't know where else to go. I was hoping for a place that provided quality therapy and med management at the same place. First, it took me three months to get in which anyone that knows mental health treatment that continuity is important. I was transitioning from a provider that had high therapist turnover so i was in desperate need of stability and quality. The Mindpath therapist i was given overtalked me and the whole situation gave vibes that I was his therapist. That lead me to seek out another therapist at a different provider (DRG Counseling) which proved to be the best move ever as I have been with my current therapist for about a year now and he is the best I have ever had. I stayed at Mindpath for med management but didn't care for that person either. He did tweak my meds some in a positive direction but he also kept tell me that he thought I had BPD and Bipolar and I have been receiving mental health treatment for over 22 years and never once was given these diagnosis. I don't display outbursts of anger or manic episodes. And the one thing that I wanted to explore with him was ADHD and he gave me a very hard time with it. I have been talking to him about ADHD and looking into that so I could potentially get some medicinal assistance but he kept pushing it off and even indicated that he thought I displayed the symptoms but kept dragging his feel and saying we will address the matter at the next session a month later. We only had 20 minute sessions once a month. I just left MindPath last week and cancelled all remaining appointments for med management. I am already under a new provider (Triangle Wellness and Recovery) for med management that is far more therapeutic and understanding. I already feel better and more seen and heard. I am writing all this because I want the next person that needs mental health services like I do can go into Mindpath with a realistic mindset that it may not work out and that it isn't their fault if it does. There are other providers out there. Don't feel stuck like it did.”

“I enjoy the time that i spend with my therapist because i can relax, let my hair down and really talk about what’s happening in my life. I can talk about my feelings, God which is a win, win situation for me, no judgement zone. I can talk about my stress, my pass before i can to Christ.I talk about my two children i’m raising,i can show my emotions, etc…”
