What patients say on Google

“Terrible and unprofessional. Referred by our pediatrician. First virtual visit was fine but dealing with reception was not exactly smooth. Instead of scheduling follow up session at the conclusion of the 1st session, I had to call reception to schedule. Okay, not convenient but whatever. Scheduled second virtual session but the provider never called at the scheduled time. I called reception who initially insisted that the physician called and we didn’t answer which is untrue because we were by the phone. Reception said the physician will call in a few minutes and he doesn’t. We call reception again. Now he claims he doesn’t have the right number but will call. No call. We call reception again third time and the office is closed. We leave a message that we have been waiting for a call for 30 minutes and we will only be available another hour. The physician calls AFTER we said we would not be available and spends 10 minutes in the session and he said he had been with another patient in an emergency which is inconsistent with what reception told us. Again I have to call reception to set up 2nd follow up appointment. Once again the physician never calls. We call reception 20 minutes later and are told he will call. Reception calls an hour later asking if the physician called. He had not. Finally the physician calls more than 1.5 hours after the scheduled appointment and now begins yelling at my child that she needs to be waiting by the phone and he called her 5 times. No matter what she said he continued lecturing her about answering his calls. He most certainly did not call and we have the phone history to prove it. I was home with her when he was to call and he didn’t. I told him so and he was hostile and told me to not raise my voice. I told him we would be going elsewhere. Dr Rana is extremely unprofessional and rude. I would never recommend him. What a waste of time and way too much aggravation for absolutely nothing. I have honestly never met a medical professional who was so unprofessional in my life.”

“I recently lost job which cause my insurance to change. The office no longer takes my insurance. I asked if the provider could call in my medication for for 30 days to give me a chance to find another provider. I was told if I couldn’t paid the self pay rate that I couldn’t help me. I was literally told my the receptionist good luck as if this we were talking about finding my keys vs the importance of my mental health.”

“I’ve been going to Dr. Rana for way over a decade. I have never once thought about going elsewhere. Dr. Rana is extremely knowledgeable and experienced which has given me confidence in navigating my mental health for all of these years. After my diagnosis, I felt lost going to other doctors. The doctors at other places just prescribed medication hit or miss, made me feel like a complainer for questioning side effects or not feeling better. That wasted years of feeling hopeless. I felt miserable and like there was no hope. My family doctor recommended Dr. Rana. From day one, Dr. Rana made me feel confident in his expertise. I haven’t felt ever like I was unsure of that expertise. The medicines he chose helped me to feel like me again. I felt confident in his treatment. He has always willing to listen and explain anything I am concerned about. I am so very thankful for him and for having him as my doctor for such a long time. It has meant many years of feeling like myself even with mental health issues. I would highly recommend him and do.”

“I have been seeing Dr. Rana for years now. At this point I totally trust his judgement. I am very happy with the care I receive and thankful for his help. He works WITH his patients, which is very important to me in choosing a doctor. He is very patient, kind and wise. I also have seen Kimberly Mason for a while now and she is an excellent therapist. She helps me through talk therapy and is a great listener. I feel very positive and inspired after our appointments. Ali the receptionist is very hard-working and helpful when I call with medication concerns or appointment booking. Overall, I am very grateful to this practice for being on and by my side on my mental health journey.”
