What patients say on Google

“I was nervous about getting the help I needed, but from the moment I walked into Mind Matters, I felt at ease. The office was welcoming, calm, and organized. PA Sophia Harrison made me feel comfortable right away and was so easy to talk to. I left feeling relieved, hopeful, and excited to continue my treatment. If you’re hesitant about seeking help, I highly recommend Mind Matters and PA Sophia Harrison. Thank you for making my first visit such a positive experience!”

“Sophia Harrison, PA along with Francesca Socco, LPC-Associate, have changed my life! I was going through a very hard time with harassment at my job and the loss of my father. I felt like my world was caving in and I had become a shell of my former self. I was a bit nervous at the start, as I have never done any therapy before; but they both eased my fears. Dr. Harrison is a truly caring and thoughtful person; and she always carefully listens closely and never rushes me. Francesca has also given me a safe space and the tools to extend empathy to myself so that I can dig deeper. The office staff is also very kind, and they always send texts and phone call reminders about upcoming appointments, which is very helpful in this busy world. I cannot say enough about this wonderful place that has truly changed my life for the better. If you don't know what to do next for your mental health, reach out to Mind Matters Psychiatry. Your future self will thank you.”

“Expressing my gratitude to Dr. Gajwani and his staff for a loved one, we brought for his care for almost a decade. We've seen the growth of this practice from a small clinic, to it's current expansion, and encountered a lot of his staff - that our entire family knows who Dr. Gajwani is. Our other doctors respect and trust his care too. I've seen some of his research and saw him speak in a conference. He practices what he preaches. We deeply appreciate the kindness, genuine concern, compassion, his ability to express urgency with simple words to help us and the patient understand his plans for treatment, most especially medications and dosing. He's humble and patient when he speaks his expertise to anyone, that someone in a non- medical field can understand and yet someone in the medical field will value as golden learning opportunities. He got us covered from A to Z, if something happens, there is always a next step and we never had a problem reaching his nurse. They respond within a reasonable time - the next business day or two. And when treatment works, most especially after a period of trial of dosing medications, when we come back for follow-up, Dr. Gajwani shares in that sense of relief. We're happy when we see him smile also, he shows he's human too and we know he's our friend. We appreciate Ms. Ash, and Ms. Danielle, for helping us with insurance coverage and documentation. Ms. Janki is also an excellent life-saving and relationship saving therapist. Couldn't mention all by name, but the entire staff are all welcoming. If there was ever a problem, they're personable and will work it out. We highly recommend Dr. Gajwani, his therapists, and his staff.”

“I had a really terrible experience at this establishment. Something that should not still be happening in 2026. I called this establishment to find a new child psychiatrist for my daughter who has autism and ADHD. She has medications she takes that are running low and her former psychiatrist won’t fill since her office no longer takes my daughter insurance. They took 3 days of time verifying insurance and giving forms to fill out. To tell me that the doctor would have to think about seeing my daughter because both parents will not be present at her meetings. I am a single parent who juggles school work and my child’s health. The last thing I will be is discriminated against because I am raising her alone. What a disgusting display from a place meant to help children and adults with mental disorders. I have never been treated like this in my life. But rest assured I will get my daughter the help she needs without the help of people like you !”
