“I found the Mind Forward Health Center through my employer’s partnership with the Lyra App. I reached out to an in-app specialist who recommended me Dr. Ortiz and her clinic as she aligned the best with my mental health needs and other personal preferences. There was only a small billing issue but it was handled swiftly and accordingly. I had my first appointment with Sami Lopez and I absolutely loved it. She was friendly and considerate about my concerns, my past and current mental health struggles, and overall a very welcoming and empathetic person. She truly made me feel comfortable and safe to open up to her without feeling guilt, shame, or regret afterwards. To me, the first session is always an important factor in determining whether or not I should proceed with a new therapist and clinic. Sami did an outstanding job at helping me choose the Mind Forward Health Center as my new home for my mental health journey. I have just had my third session with her and am looking forward to next week’s session!
