“I was a patient at Mind Connect for the summer, as I was just in the area for a summer internship. Heta served as my mental health nurse practitioner and was incredible. Moments into my initial visit, I realized how great of hands I was in; not only did Heta want to understand the journey I had with psychiatry and how I fared with different medications, she wanted to know about my life journey and get to know more about who I was as a person. She made me feel welcome at the start and continued to make me feel that way throughout my time working with her. Heta is very knowledgable about different medications and the roles or impacts they may entail. It allows her to be strategic about medication management and make the best informed decision for me. All in all, I felt that I was in great hands during my time with Heta. One more thing I greatly appreciated is how promptly Heta gets back to emails, as does her office manager, Nirav. Nirav was able to field the overwhelming majority of calls I made to the office, but in the few cases he was busy for whatever reason, he called back in a very timely manner.
