How likely are you to recommend Mind-Body Wellness Center?
What patients say on Google
“Great place. My daughter is a teen and needed help. The strides of improvement she has made in the last year with here people is amazing. They are blunt, honest but also kind. My teen went from not wanting to talk to anyone to not wanting to miss an appointment. She used to make excuses to never go but once she realized her improvements she made, she wants to go. It was suggested she could cut therapy back from once a week to every other and she even said no, I need this in my life I want to keep it every week. Love this place.”
“I have physically been in this location on five occasions. The front desk staff are always rude, condescending and have violated HIPPA laws on two occasions. They are unaware of their surroundings and I have overheard them discussing a patients billing and discussing (and mocking) a phone call with patient. They have no compassion and zero business working in mental health. This morning I called to make an appointment for my child and when the current counselor did not have any appointments for several weeks, I asked if we could look into another therapist. The woman on the phone LAUGHED at me and said “ there’s no one else”. Why on earth is it funny that a child is in need of mental health support and no one is available? Why would any one ever laugh in that scenario? The doctor and therapist at this location need to address the lack of compassion their front desk has. This staff needs a lesson in basic human decency.”
“I was just checking reviews,I'm not impressed no one has responded too any of the reviews either. My doctor just recommended them. They called me yesterday they can't see me until end of July really, reason is only 1 doctor for this. You expect people with mental health problems too wait that long. If I have another breakdown like I did in October I might not be around for the appointment. No wonder there is such a problem with mental health illness in the world.”
“Dr Dorta's empathetic manner and unmatched expertise, particularly regarding the treatment of BPD, is worth going out of my way for. I moved to pittsburgh three years ago and still drive up to see him. My life has improved so much since I started seeing him in 2018.”
