What patients say on Google
“Somehow I got referred here from OhioHealth from somebody who must be plugged in. You will be seen by a nurse practitioner that doesn't really have the expertise. They have no plan they dont know what they are doing. Waste of money.”
“I never received a call from my provider for my scheduled appointment, so I had to call in myself. Only then was I told my provider had been changed without any prior notice. The new provider later claimed she tried to call, but I had no missed calls — even though I was waiting 15 minutes before the appointment time. During the call, I felt the provider talked far too much without giving me a real chance to explain my concerns. I left feeling my issues were not addressed and that I wasn’t truly listened to and the time ran out and we had to reschedule my next appointment. This lack of communication was very frustrating. To make matters worse, when I went to pick up my prescription, the pharmacy informed me that my provider had entered my name backwards — first and last name swapped — even though I filled out my registration correctly. While mistakes happen, errors like this are unacceptable at a professional level. In healthcare, accuracy and communication are critical. This was my personal experience, and unfortunately, it left me feeling disappointed and frustrated with the quality of care and professionalism. Date of experience: 9/30/2025 Extremely unprofessional experience with Mid Ohio Psychiatry. I had a scheduled phone appointment with Julia on September 26 at 11:30 AM, for which I had already taken time off from work. Only 15 minutes before the appointment, I received a voicemail from the receptionist saying it was canceled. Since then, I’ve called multiple times and left voicemails to reschedule, but no one has returned my calls. This lack of communication and professionalism has left me without a treatment plan, caused unnecessary stress, and shows very poor business practices. Patients deserve consistency, respect, and timely communication — none of which I received here. I would caution others to be aware of these issues before trusting this office with your care. 10/10/2025 Dear Ms. Madick and Columbus Physicians Group Management, I am writing in response to the termination letter dated September 25, 2025, regarding my dismissal as a patient from Columbus Physicians Group / Mid Ohio Psychiatry. I am formally requesting that this rebuttal be added to my patient record in accordance with my rights under federal law. The statement in your letter alleging that I engaged in “extremely rude and inappropriate patient behavior” and “yelled so loudly during the video visit that other staff members had to check if the provider was safe” is completely inaccurate and does not reflect the reality of that encounter. I also have witnesses during this conversation. It appears that the records were framed in a way that fits your own narrative rather than an objective account of events. During the September 24, 2025, telemedicine visit, I expressed frustration about ongoing communication issues and the lack of clear guidance for my care. However, at no time did I threaten, yell, or act in a hostile manner. My goal was to receive clarity and support regarding next steps in my treatment, not to engage in any form of conflict. I believe this dismissal may have been issued in response to my concerns about care quality rather than any inappropriate behavior on my part. I take my healthcare and professional interactions seriously and have always aimed to communicate respectfully, even when discussing difficult topics. I request confirmation that this rebuttal has been included in my permanent patient record and remains accessible to any future healthcare providers who may request my records.”

“the provider ( dr ) is amazing so warm and welcoming, but unafortunally the office admins are horrible, they make me sign a contract stating that they take 60 days to process insurance, they told me that my insurance will cover now after 2 appt they are saying that i owed money. So i wouldn’t recommended at all.. lack of credibility”
