“I been here 3 times for mental observation. Nobody who’s sentenced has ever been released in 6 months. It’s 1 day to the rest of your life. I gave 3 Star’s because I had F.A.N’s working on my ward, and my stay wasn’t great.”

“My brother has been there for years. Once he was beaten so horribly by staff and they calimed becasue he didnt want to take his medication than the story changed and it was because he had a bad reaction to the medication...so they beat him, gave him a black eye, bruised his back and stomach and busted his lip open, we still have the pictures. For context he has schizophrenia disorder. This week he wasnt feeling well and he said they would take him to the hospital and hed call us when he was able. We havent heard from him in a week. We called the social worker and she sadi shed call us back and never did. We tried to call another department to see at least what hospital he was taken to and no one knows or cant tell us and the Social worker will not answer the calls. We were patient the last few days but is not difficult to atleast tell us he is okay or to upate us on his condition. If you love your loved one don't home them here, fight and help them find a better hospital. There are some staff that love to help them and others who are down right awful. There is little communication even when you reach out and try to find things out. This is not the first time and im sure it wont be the last. We are at our last resort and this is the most I can do while we wait for a response. We pray and hope he is alright and I hope everyone who reads this never has this experience. He is here because of his schizophrenia and court order. Their excuse is "We have so many patients it takes time." Just to let us know what hospital or if hes alright. It seems like they lost him that even his social workers are unaware. His past social workers were able to let us know how he was doing and now they have no idea.”

“My mother has not been able to talk to my brother in this center for years. They keep saying he is “refusing” to see or speak to her on the phone or see her in person. My brother has been to many facilities and never has refused to speak or see his family before. Something is very wrong in this place. & again my mother has gone to visit my brother Mark Devito and they told her they had her signed up for Saturday and not Sunday which she told his social worker. I guess it’s time for a lawyer considering we have not talk or heard on the phone from my brother in 3 years”

“If you are one for working with a little danger this is definitely the place for you. They provide optimal care to those mentally unstable. Guards and security is located everywhere and barbed wire so no escapees. Safe for the outside community.”
