What patients say on Google

“Very disappointing experience with this office’s billing department. I have received repeated calls attempting to collect a balance that I was clearly told would be resolved internally after accounts were merged and a refund was processed. I have explained this situation multiple times, yet the calls continued. The lack of organization and communication is frustrating and unprofessional. I’ve cancelled my appointment and will no longer be a patient here. I hope they improve their billing practices so other patients don’t have to deal with the same issue.”

“I was receiving psychiatry care here for a little while and was fine but my provider left. No worries, I established care elsewhere because I moved. I want to get into therapy services and was familiar with this practice. Quick turnaround to getting an appointment. Tons and tons of communication, reminders, calls, that got a bit annoying. Doing a virtual visit with my new therapist. She was ten minutes late. Then when she gets on, tells me she’s not going to be my therapist and doesn’t know why they scheduled me with her because she has no availability. But it’s ok because today was just an intake. She asked me a series of questions, 95% I had already filled out in the pre paperwork. In fact, she would sometimes answer her own question with the info that I had provided. After 30 minutes (I’m paying for an hour session) she says we’re good to go. Tells me she usually doesn’t get too deep because she “doesn’t want me to have to repeat myself to my new therapist.” So our session started late, ended early, and no therapy was done. Now I have to wait a few more weeks for a different provider. She was perfectly nice as was everyone else. I feel like this was such a blunder of a process though and I feel bad. This sucks that I was looking for help and got stuck in a broken process that this clinic put me through.”

“I have had two different nurse practitioners here, and they were each lovely to visit and very patient with me. I suffer from extreme anxiety and found that they worked with me to find the best combination of medication with patience and understanding.”

“I have been with midcities since 2016. Lately things have gone downhill and I feel very discarded after a recent attempt. I had to go to IOP and I could not get in with my doctor as normal once I was out. I tried to see someone new and the office kept getting confused if it was one person or the other called to scheduele one appointment with jane or one with nelson. I let them know I wanted to talk to my provider as no one was on the same page. The front office and doctors are not communicating well at all/very disorganized. The turnover per the person who filled out my paperwork for IOP has been bad lately for the staff due to work life balance, and if you get off their books you will lose your spot at the practice. Not expecting special treatment, but id hope to have way more support and safety after my what I went through. Now I am trying to see a new doctor and they already locked me out of my portal so I can't get any documents for a quick investigation on how to adjust or keep my meds. I dont even trust them for a quick turn around on medical records now. I feel so defeated.”
