How likely are you to recommend Michigan Psychological Care?
What patients say on Google
“This is the worst place you can ever possibly go the office manager and the staff upfront have no idea about insurance. They will tell you they are participating provider but don’t listen to them they are not participating providers with many many many health insurance they say it incorrectly and twist it and they overcharge if a parent has to have a meeting with them they charge you for that meeting as a parent as well and they will not bill it to insurance so you’ll have to pay out-of-pocket $300 for each visit. I would not recommend them at all”
“Had an appointment at 3 . A hour latter they called me back to to tell me my i had to stop using my medical Marijuana card and they wouldn't help me cause of it. The Place was dirty . I would Never recommend anyone go here . it took me over ten years to come back to a place like this and soon remembered why . I would rater deal with my extreme a.d.d. then have to go to or deal with them waisting a hour of my time . What a joke never again 😒 would leave negative star's if possible.”
“I was set up with an intern, and it was going really well, with no complaints about our sessions. Due to issues in my personal life, I had to stop going. I informed them of this several times and canceled all future appointments that were set up, I even double-checked on my way out after my last session that all appointments were canceled henceforth, and they were. So, I quit going, and then a month later, they tried charging me for an appointment that I DID NOT set up as well as a missed appointment fee. Putting the total at about $210. I called, and it was taken care of, but it was still ridiculous that it had even happened in the first place. If you go, be sure to check all your bills that they send you and their dates.”
“Honestly the therapists are great. So is most of the staff. However when they cancel on clients under situations of duress due to “hiccups in the system” or not understanding the severity of lack of support on the end of the family involved….. life is hard enough as is. I was finally getting my child the help he needed, I got into a car accident lost all transportation, no support system to get to appointments, now we’re restricted and cant be seen. I tried to call to cancel. Here goes all the hard work and everything I’ve tried to establish.”
