I had a different experience before him where I was not feeling heard but wow does he make you feel heard, seen and valued. He does not judge no matter what your past may look like and that is SO HARD to find these days in psychiatrists I swear. I genuinely am grateful that he is my psychiatrist and I do not plan on ever changing mine. I am grateful that lifestance brought me to him because he truly is phenomenal.”

“Just completed my first virtual visit with Michael Kesselring and it was completely different from anyone I’ve dealt with before at Life Stance or anyone in counseling or psychiatry I’ve ever experienced in the past 26 years of being prescribed medication. The call lasted almost 45 minutes which was 42 more minutes longer than my previous Doctor that no longer works there. He was extremely genuine, asked meaningful and direct questions that made me feel instantly comfortable to answer truthfully and to just be me. He challenged the reason for certain meds that counter react each other. He opened up about his own life and struggles and when listened to mine without suggestion but more questions, showing me that he actually cared. Then he devised a plan and suggest different options to help me after the call and then we came up with a game plan to for the future to cope and get better. I would recommend Dr. Kesselring to everyone that has felt like a number or afraid to ask for help. He is an Empath that truly cares and who found his calling with this career choice of path. It has inspired me to change my mindset almost immediately and ready to learn to become my best self!
