What patients say on Google

“Ive been a patient of Meridian for over a decade. Dr Abernathy in Gainesville is amazing. I started coming to the Ocala location maybe a month or so after it opened. Dr Linda is also an amazing. Today however I had the displeasure of meeting Pamela Caroll and her triage nurses. It was supposed to be a telehealth appt, I waited in the lobby for almost 26 minutes for Pamela to join the appointment, when she finally did I asked her to please give me 45 seconds to a minute, I was at work and only get a 30 min break off the clock. The owner of my company was asking me for a count down of cash before he left for the day. I politely asked for 1 minute to finish up the call, not only did she disconnect the appointment, her triage nurse hopped on with an attitude and when I asked why Pamela couldn't wait 45 seconds for me, even though I waited 25 minutes after my scheduled appt for her. She got loud saying I have to reschedule and bcuz i wasn't ready I cant do telehealth again, I'll need to reschedule. Of course it was frustrated ive been out of meds for over 3 weeks waiting to get this appointment. Its like they are playing keep away with my mental health medications. I tried to call 2x before 5pm to see how long it will be without meds until this new in person appt is scheduled. It was 445 at this point snd im still at work until 5pm. I asked my mom who is allowed to not only discuss my care but she is allowed to make medial decisions regarding my mental health. I asked her to pls find out if they are at least calling in my insomnia meds. They ruddy told my mom, we cant tell you anything and she needs to call she knows exactly what she needs to do to get her meds and hung up on her. I understand why so many mentsl health patients obecone homeless. Its been almost 4 weeks without meds, I'm just one bad day away from losing it all.”

“The only good thing I've had here, and the only reason I'm not leaving a 1 star review, is the therapy services. Those were a big help and I didn't really have any problems with, however the problems I did have are just too much to keep seeking help from these services. The medical services outside of the actual appointments themselves, which were entirely fine, have been an awful experience. Just trying to get someone on the phone to request a refill of medication after my pharmacy requested numerous times with no answer is basically impossible. See my attached photo of my last attempted call, as I never got my call answered, to their office.”

“Dr. Lindsey was such a kind soul and I could tell she genuinely cared to help me. But I don't know if it's some kind of structural issue or what but it was always a pain in the ass to request medications. I had TWO separate incidents where I was running out of medicine and I requested a refill 1 week in advance to me running out and didn't get my refills done in time and ended up running out, dealing with the withdrawals”

“This place is dirty and dingy. Its a large empty building with nothing but employees. Where are all the patients? The parking lot is empty. The lobby looks unused. They lack proper ADA compliance. To be updated”
