“ZERO stars! I hate leaving a negative review, but I feel this needs to be addressed. For what little we dealt with this office, it was a waste of time. Time is important when people are needing help!!! CJ Kalb was worthless from the first appointment!!!! I was so disappointed, but we stuck with him. At every appointment he would just increase meds even tho they weren't helping. Every appointment was an increase. Increase, increase, increase.....then prescribe add ons that weren't helping either. Because there wasn't any changes and he wasn't helping, I asked to be switched to a different person. Well, they told me they they could see if someone would take the case, but if they don't take your case, you'll be released (kicked out) of the office AND you cannot go back to CJ either. (NOT THAT WE WANTED TO!) This is how you run your practice?!?! People need help and you treat them like scum? NOPE! We went somewhere else. They ended up doing a GeneSight test and found out that the medicines prescribed weren't compatible based on DNA. Why wasn't one of these tests done when the medicines weren't working?!?! What a complete waste of time!”
“If I could, I give 0 stars. I asked my gf, who I'd JUST tried to break up with, to take me to be admitted bc I have Dissociative Identity Disorder, and was very rapidly switching in and out of mental awareness. I was under extreme stress and my BP was very high. Had I remained in the regular ER Dept, they'd have been ON IT. I had absolutely NO monitoring on my BP whatsoever. I had a nurse get labs to test for drugs. 2 hours in the hold room and a social worker came in, asking a series of questions. Reporting to her about the relationship stress should've been her first clue to have my gf step out of the room. No, she's never been physically abusive to me, but they didn't know that. Still, I had no opportunity to answer any questions without her presence and I wasn't in the right mindset to even know I could ask. It was extremely awkward. 2 hours after that, a nurse finally came in, to report my labs and tell me I'd be admitted to the psychiatric ward. She gave me a mild sedative to help me sleep. I did doze a bit, but had a panic attack. My gf called for a nurse, bc whatever alter ego I was at the time said I was having chest pressure. Twenty minutes later, a security guard came, NOT the nurse. Even after explaining the situation to him, a nurse didn't come back in for several minutes. My gf is a former paramedic and said they should've immediately checked if I was having a heart attack. The nurse gave no attention to the matter at all. She just handed me papers and said to call the numbers on the ppw the next morning. I got sent home bc I wasn't seen as a threat to myself or others. I'll NEVER go back there for anything mental health related.”
“This department is an absolute disgrace and I feel that Chris Kalb does not actually care for people. This guy has no empathy whatsoever. My local community health center referred me to the practice Chris Kalb works at. And after I had to reschedule due to being severely ill he has now declined to see me. He never even gave me a fair chance. I am struggling getting 20 mins of sleep per night and was hopeful that symptoms with all the others that make my disability accommodating that I was reaching out to a person of healing. I was wrong. This man DOES NOT CARE. They asked a Jennifer who also works there if she would consider taking me on afterward and she also declined. This place is not there with the intention of helping people!”
“I wish I could leave zero stars. I have never felt so defeated and made to feel so insignificant in my life. "Dr" Kalb joined our last virtual session and immediately said he was not going to help anymore and I need to find another doctor that's going to prescribe medication that "I want". He kept me on 2 medicines that I was ALREADY on before seeing him and refused to try anything else when I said during every session that they were not helping at all. I was treated like a drug addict. I do not recommend. Please advocate for yourself. Having a degree does not make you a good person. I wish I had something positive to say but I don't at all. He said "I'm gonna tell you straight up like it is, you're problems are you life and medicine is not going to help you." What a joke. PLEASE do not come here for serious mental health issues like I did.”
