How likely are you to recommend Mercy Health Behavioral Hospital?
What patients say on Google
“The ONLY thing this place has going for it is that it's a new facility. The staff is absolutely HORRENDOUS and the majority of them clearly don't want to be there because they do nothing but talk shit about their patients in the hallways at full volume right outside the rooms. They don't give a singular damn about HIPPA, I can recite medical info I absolutely should not know. Even after TRYING to reach the patient advocate, who never actually bother talking to me mind you, the director of nursing was supposed to talk to his staff and given that they continued talking about their patients negatively I doubt it ever happened or he's just sort of the problem too. If you're ever feeling like harming yourself, DO NOT use anyone from this hospital because I promise you will leave feeling worse than when you came in.”
“It seems miraculous the Mercy Lifepoint Behavioral Health Hospital is now remote and in a new building. Their excellent leadership along with care and compassion of all employees is very helpful and refreshing . Thank you for all you do.”
“Excellent Behavioral Hospital with caring nurses and doctors. I highly recommend this hospital for all your mental needs.”
“The staff were excellent during my stay, they were attentive to the needs and requests of all the patients, with some of the staff going above and beyond their required jobs. The group therapy sessions were very informative and honestly very helpful. The activity therapy sessions were a nice change of pace that focused on some fun activities, that help to stay positive, while learning what coping mechanisms work for you personally. They also took medication management seriously and didn't just overload me with a slew of meds to "shut me up" they started me off with a smaller amount based on my issues and were willing to adjust as needed throughout the whole process. My only complaint was the no smoking and no vaping policy, only nicotine patches, but I do see why that can be a hard issue to navigate and change, especially since it is a mercy health facility and they don't allow anyone to smoke, even the employees.”
