How likely are you to recommend Mercy Clinic Adult Psychiatry - Town and Country?
What patients say on Google
“The staff at the front desk were unhelpful and I heard them talking about me rudely when they didn’t know I was sitting in the waiting area. I waited over 2 hours after the receptionist told me 15 minutes. It seemed she was more interested in talking to her friends on the phone than helping anyone. Overall I would recommend choosing another group. This one seems horribly run.”
“Jaco Perkins, is the best therapist I have ever had. I’m a complex case with years of psych treatments. In the 2 years that I have been seeing him I have learned so much. He’s incredibly intelligent, highly professional and very knowledgeable. The rest of Mercy Psych team is lacking in empathy, compassion, knowledge and training. I know many of us pysch patients are afraid to advocate and just go along with what other doctors request but Jacob will not and has never done that. I came from another group with little trust and have been able to establish a comfortable therapeutic relationship. If you are not within mercy insurance program and looking please google as you can find him practicing elsewhere. I highly recommend him!!”
“I'm still really shocked about what I experienced here. My medications have been dosed and regulated for several years. I was happy and didn’t need to change anything. But this doctor then told me she was changing the treatment of a medication I’ve been on for 12 years for my ADD. First of all, don’t doctors usually talk with their patients before abruptly stopping or changing a medication? Well that didn’t happen. There was no discussion whatsoever. She didn’t even ask me what side effects I myself have experienced. She just decided what those were for me, said it was only uncomfortable and told me I can deal with it. So I pushed back and said no I’m not doing that, this medication is where it needs to be. I explained the symptoms of my condition, the side effects I’ve felt when changing or skipping doses and how serious they were. I was basically explaining to this person who went to medical school that everyone’s condition is different so their treatment should be too. None of it mattered. I was completely ignored. I was not given treatment, I got an ultimatum. And I asked another doctor and a pharmacist about this and they did not agree with it either. They said it’s not impossible but it’s extremely rigid and uncommon. Not the kind of people I want in charge of my life and health that's for sure.”
“I've found this location to be very helpful. Nurse Miranda is always on point. She makes you feel comfortable. The front desk is accompanied with golden customer service. Highly Recommend!”
