How likely are you to recommend Mental Services for Clark and Madison Counties, Inc.?
What patients say on Google
“Sub par services, to be kind. The left hand doesn’t speak to the right hand there. I’m not sure they’re even aware of each other. Decent service at the beginning but it went off a cliff quickly. May be good for some, but I won’t go back. Got one of my dogs accessed for me tal health at the Vet yesterday. Sorry but I trust them more…why? Dog got same meds as me, except dog got a refill. That place wants to bang insurance for a visit to refill meds they KNOW works.”
“Mr. Walt has left a lasting impression on me as a person. Whenever I had the chance to talk to him it felt like he truly cared about my well-being. Thank you for your kindness and compassion. I hope you are doing well.”
“I felt very trapped and isolated here, and they pink slipped me just because I had been suicidal the day before, meaning when I was admitted I was actually fine mentally. Though fighting to get out the whole time, and with my parents and others advocating for me to be let out, they refused to discharge me. There was barely anything to do there, and the only therapy I received that I can remember was a brief conversation with a social worker on the phone. They got my bloodwork mixed up with another patient that was there. I also got stalked by a drug addict there who touched me. It was a very uncomfortable, depressing, gloomy place to be. And I felt like a lot of the other patients had mental disabilities rather than mental health issues, like I had, so I didn’t feel safe around them.”
“Honestly, no offense to the staff. The staff was amazing! I had a great experience with almost every staff member I interacted with. The only issue is that the place is super boring. It doesn’t help you, it makes you feel isolated. You’re limited to 2 rooms only, daily. Walking in circles, staring at walls etc. weekends don’t count as days? Imagine doing the same thing every day for 5+ days straight constantly walking in circles to pass time? Tallying how many times you’ve walked in circles? They do have games, but there’s only like 5 which get super boring after playing them continuously. They also have a tv room which is just a small tv to share with multiple people. Kudos to them for trying. Like I said, the staff were amazing. I had a great experience with them. They’re all very kind and they do try their hardest to make it less boring! In my opinion I just think they should have more rooms to access to, more games, more hands on activities.”
