How likely are you to recommend Mehdi Asad MD?
“I cannot recommend Dr. Asad Mehdi and his entire team highly enough. After seeing Dr. Mehdi for over a year, I can honestly say he has had a life-changing impact on my life. What sets this practice apart is that it truly is a one-stop shop for comprehensive mental health care. Between medication management, therapy, Spravato treatment, and their connection with the Shallowford Intensive Outpatient Program, every aspect of my care has been thoughtfully coordinated. The Shallowford program ultimately saved my life, and I will always be grateful that Dr. Mehdi guided me there when I needed it most. Dr. Mehdi is compassionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in his patients’ well-being. I have never felt like “just another patient.” He listens, takes the time to understand what you’re going through, and continually works with you to find the best treatment plan. His staff is equally exceptional. From the front desk to the medical team, everyone is kind, responsive, and truly cares. Their communication is outstanding, and they consistently go above and beyond to accommodate my needs. There have even been times when members of the team came in on days they weren’t scheduled simply to ensure I could receive my treatment. That level of dedication is incredibly rare. Because of Dr. Mehdi and his amazing team, I’m in a place I never thought I would be. They helped me through one of the darkest periods of my life, and today I have hope, stability, and a future I genuinely look forward to. If you’re looking for a psychiatrist who combines exceptional clinical expertise with genuine compassion—and a staff that treats you like family—you won’t find a better practice. Thank you, Dr. Mehdi and the entire team, for everything you’ve done for me. I will be forever grateful.”
“I have been with Dr Asad Medhi and office for 6 years. Great care is what they are and what they stand for. The care extends from his employees as well (office manager, Chelsea and physician assistants.) There is hardly any wait time for an appointment. Dr Medhi cares about every aspect of my illness: He clearly explains treatment rationale and possesses the humility to adjust treatment when necessary. I feel safe sharing my thoughts with him and the office manager. Additionally, Dr. Medhi practices listening; we work together on my treatment plan. I recommend Dr. Medhi as a psychiatrist so you can receive the kind compassionate care you deserve!”
“There are very few psychiatrist like Dr. Mehdi. He single handily saved my family members life, and did it with keeping caregivers of his patient informed. He truly sets the bar for psychiatrist. If i could give more than 5 stars I would.”
“Dr Medhi had been my Dr many times at peachford and the last time I was there he didn't remember who I was and didn't look at my chart and didn't listen to me and diagnosed me schizophrenic and gave me a single dose of Klonopin without my regular meds and put me in general population. Except I was put on the men's unit to sleep even though I was telling them I had been raped and was removing it. When the Klonopin wore off I had no medicine put in for me and I was supposed to just wait. I have severe anxiety and bipolar disorder and was in psychosis. And I was told to sit down and wait calmly. I am unable to do that. Everything triggered me and I had to be given shots. Had it not been for my sister calling them and threatening to report them I don't think they would have ever read my chart and gotten my meds straight and I was moved to a different unit several times because they kept giving me shits because I kept being triggered I guess. But had de mehdi paid attention to me and listened to me when I 1st came in my illness could have been managed a lot quicker and easier. He misdiagnosed me without looking at my chart. Who does that? I'm a human being I have a right to be treated as such regardless of my mental illness. I had had a brain injury in between the last time he had seen me and I was trying to tell him that but no one would listen to me. What they did to me at that hospital during that stay I'm certain made my brain injury worse. And I now struggle with trusting getting a psychiatrist because of that. Dr Medhi at one time was good to me but he failed me on that visit. Horribly. Almost the entire staff failed me. I lost hope in peachford as a source for getting help that visit. I was there for 2 weeks and only remember 4 days because I was in psychosis and they did not treat me for it. I got punished for it with shots.”
