“I understand why this place was the only one with an opening when it was needed. I will say the people that directly deal with the patients on the floor are pretty good. With that being said, the rest of you should be ashamed of yourselves. You won’t be because you know that nobody will believe anyone with a mental health issue over you. Waiting hours for medicine when needed, how about a patient literally falling to the ground over low blood sugar, how about the awesome therapy sessions that don’t exist. How about getting a phone call hours after getting released not knowing you were gone. Communication error I’m sure. Let’s also not forget to send medication or even get a prescription to a pharmacy, you know just enough until they get to a Doctor. That was only solved after multiple phone calls not just from me, but a Doctor as well and emails. That is always fun to deal with after someone is released. Some people don’t have somebody to fight for them, and I’m sorry for that. Especially when you really need it. Thankful my loved one has someone to fight for them. Over a month after being released and still no discharge papers. I have emails that said it was done. Nope, even the medical doctor here has been trying and no luck. I will say the billing department is on point. The bill came already. I do wonder why there isn’t therapy sessions when the person I was corresponding with has Therapist behind their name. Not understanding why it isn’t put to use. Anyways, save your automated generated “I’m sorry about your experience and reach out”. Let’s be honest, who’s actually going to answer that phone? You will be transferred, hung up on etc….hopefully a place like this isn’t needed again, but if it is you can be sure it will be anywhere but here. You deserve - stars but that’s not an option unfortunately.”

“I was released there last month and my tablet and phone were stolen and that for a fact because there was charges on my bank account over $200 so I had to change banks and came to my credit card and I have called the facility for the CEO who name is Greg let's over 20 messages on his answering machine and he's never called back I have called this place for 50 times trying to get a hold of him for a reimbursement of the tablet and phone. I would never go there again this place is horrible a person day that I was released had $200 through an out of his wallet. I would never suggest going there”

“I was in this hospital for 9 days just recently. I left it this past Saturday and I was never so thankful in my life! Unfortunately, I have been in a few mental health units/hospitals throughout the last few years and this was beyond the worst out of all of them! There is not enough room nor time here in my day to explain what all is wrong with this hospital, but if you want or need mental health help DO NOT GO HERE!! You not only will not get help, but you may leave being more ill than you were when you went in!! It is just a horrible place and should be shut down immediately!!”

“Years later I am still battling severe nightmares from this place. I have never been so scared in my life. I filed many many many complaints that fell on deaf ears during that time. The entire complaint was dismissed. Things that happened A man with dementia was put into this unit. He was very unwell. A woman was allowed to have a face razor on the unit. No one searched her bag. One man stabbed one of the physicians in front of everyone. A deaf women was being sedated anytime she made noise. A man with autism was not being treated properly. People were able to have sex on the unit Nurses changed their glasses to confuse patients. I was being given ativan without consent and when I refused was told to just take it and shut up. They had almost no activities, no outdoor time, the social worker was pissed at me and ignored me and refused to discharge because she was an awful human being. My medications were not being handled properly leading to a lengthy stay. Everything I put here, I complained about. I was made to feel insane. I'm not insane for expecting to be treated like a decent human being. Even mentally ill people deserve to be treated humanly. This place does not care about you. This place is scary. This place is still operating with the same complaints on their reviews. This place is dangerous. This place should not allow anyone to go here. If you love someone you should not admit them. *I REFUSE TO CONTACT THEM WITH COMPLAINTS AS THEY WILL NOT LISTEN. KNOW YOUR RIGHTS AND FILE AGAINST THEM WITH THE STATE OF INDIANA. FILE! FILE! FILE!*”
