What patients say on Google

“I had an excellent experience working with Dr. Sol. He helped me through one of the most difficult seasons of my life, and I’m deeply grateful for the care I received. What sets him apart is not only his deep knowledge of psychology, but his uncommon wisdom and his ability to understand people at a profound level. He genuinely cares about his patients’ well-being, while also being direct, honest, and refreshingly real. I always felt respected and supported, but also challenged in a way that helped me grow. His work helped me become healthier, stronger, and more grounded, and it has also helped me show up better for the people in my life. I highly recommend Dr. Sol and the team at Meaningful Change.”

“TL;DR — The people who work here will help you. They will work with your schedule and your finances. If you need help and you're willing to listen, collaborate, and do what it takes to get better, you can get better at Meaningful Change. Please set something up as soon as you can. It’s amazing, and everyone here actually cares about you. For a longer, more personal review: I came to Meaningful Change at a point in my life when many of my relationships were struggling — including the most important one: the relationship I had with myself. I was distressed and honestly at the end of my rope. I had already spent years in therapy elsewhere with little or no lasting effect, so I was very careful about choosing where to go next. I chose Meaningful Change because of their specialties and because their description stood out as more personal and thoughtful than others I had read after hours of searching. I didn’t have time to waste and needed to know I was making the right decision. The first thing I noticed after submitting my intake form was that they had actually read it. I was asked specific questions about what I wrote, and because of that I was able to start getting real help immediately. Erin Sol is articulate, kind, thoughtful, and clearly deeply committed to both her field and her patients. She is careful and responsible with medication and only recommends it when appropriate. At no point did I ever feel pressured into taking anything. Every decision about medication was thoughtful, collaborative, and tailored to my lifestyle. After a few weeks working with Erin (including actual homework — another very good sign), I was able to begin therapy with Dr. Raul Sol. I can’t say enough about the level of care and attention I received from Dr. Sol. Like Erin, he had already reviewed everything I submitted beforehand and referenced it directly in our work together. Nothing I did felt wasted. He was attentive, responsive, and supportive even during difficult moments, including times outside normal hours when I truly needed guidance. He encouraged me to face the hard parts of healing instead of avoiding them, and helped me learn how to think more clearly and more effectively about my own experiences. His knowledge, professionalism, and dedication to continuing growth in his field were obvious throughout the entire process. I also want to be clear about something important: I was willing to do the work. No matter how uncomfortable it was. No matter how difficult it felt. They don’t avoid the hard parts of healing — and they don’t expect you to either. But they walk with you through them. Before coming to Meaningful Change, I was in a very dark place. After three years, I left as a different person. Not “finished,” but stronger, steadier, and equipped with the tools I needed to continue healing on my own. I mean, I literally thought I would have to go to therapy forever. They didn’t just help me start the process — they treated me with real care, real respect, and genuine support. Even months later, I still feel that support. It’s hard to explain how much that meant to me. If you’re considering therapy and unsure where to start, do yourself a favor and reach out to Meaningful Change. They truly care, and they truly help.”

“I came into this appointment with prior documentation of an ADHD diagnosis and a history of meaningful improvement with ADHD-focused CBT. I was hoping for a collaborative, thorough evaluation that would take that history into consideration. Instead, the appointment felt one-sided and dismissive of my previous assessment and treatment response. While I understand that providers may have differing clinical perspectives, I did not feel that the reasoning behind the disagreement with my ADHD diagnosis was clearly explained. I was surprised that treatment was recommended for what was described as a possible or “subclinical” trauma- or bipolar-spectrum presentation, despite my clear denial of any history of mania or hypomania. Over the past year, I have not experienced prolonged periods of depression or anxiety since completing therapy, and when those feelings do arise, they tend to coincide with difficulties in focus and executive functioning. I left the appointment with a prescription typically associated with mood stabilization, which felt disproportionate given the uncertainty expressed around the diagnosis. I have previously tried other medications with limited benefit and had hoped for a more individualized and collaborative discussion of options. Instead, I left feeling confused and unheard. Because of this experience, I chose to continue care elsewhere. This review reflects my personal experience and is shared to help others seeking evaluation for ADHD or related concerns make informed decisions.”

“I have done ALOT of research (after spending years receiving sub par treatment through CMH) And I found meaningful change and best of all, Erin . She's AMAZING. She listens, she's friendly and she's really good at working with her peers to come up with a manageable treatment plan . Shes easy to get ahold of as well and that matters alot to me. Out of 5 stars I give Erin a 10!!!”
