“At 16, I was prescribed SNRIs that I now believe had an effect on my overall development. I was an idiot for getting on them in the first place to help my "depression". No matter how many times I asked dr.Macarthur if these pills would affect growth or anything revolving around puberty his answer was no, and anytime I would go for a follow up and my depression wasn't any better he would just up the dose. These pills made me very weird and not care about my own life or anyone's life around me. Even though there are many studies out there that prove that these pills affect growth hormone release and testosterone. Which is critical for a 16 year old male. It's the biggest regret I have and should have never gotten on them to begin with. This doctor only cares about prescribing medicine and will prescribe anything to anyone at any age without telling you the potential side effects. Getting on these meds was beyond stupid and you only get to be that age once. If you are a young male thinking about getting on these pills man up and go to the gym or something don't be chick and get on meds.”
