“Dr. Sachs does a great job explaining FDA dosage guidelines, why they matter, and then evaluates where you fall within those guidelines. The evaluation process involves Dr. Sachs, as well as yourself, the patient. Challenges are identified, as well as areas where you are succeeding. Then he helps you identify causes for those challenges, and at that point he makes an assessment on whether or not medication changes are necessary. He stays in touch with you, takes excellent notes, has a sharp memory, and meets with you frequently to ensure your medication plan is working. His expertise outweighs the "best practices" enforced by the leadership/compliance teams of major general practitioner organizations, and he does not have to answer to a team that is less educated and less experienced than he is in his field. This is exactly who you want as your psychiatrist. My quality of life has drastically improved. During a personal emergency that lasted over 18 months, his treatment allowed me to remain stable AND allowed me to elevate my situation.”
