“(ALL other staff was amazing and kind!) Horrible experience with Dr. Sandstrom. This was an appointment to address my inability to keep a limited part time job, go on walks longer than 1/3 of a mile, and do basic things I used to be able to do because of my health conditions. My father and I drove 3 hours for a tilt table test and a consult, and he never did the test I came there for. He talked over me the whole time and made me feel ignored, stupid, and like I haven't been doing anything to manage my conditions. He told me "I think I know what the problem is here, but I'm no expert on your condition" after meeting me and talking with me (or should I say over me) for less than 30 minutes. After repeatedly explaining to him that I cannot work, and my boyfriend doesn't have a high-paying job, he still does not understand the concept of "I cannot afford expensive exercise equipment and a diet of fresh, organic produce on no income", and told me, verbatim, to "earn my calories and food" and that I "need to exercise for 15 minutes before I do anything, including reading, watching tv, doing art, or eating". At the end of the visit, he sent me information about a condition I don't even have, and have never been diagnosed with, and sent me home with a medication that made my symptoms horribly worse. I will never be going back, and will warn everyone I can to avoid this "doctor" like the plague.”
“WARNING WARNING WARNING Do not go here unless you have 100% coverage and don't have to deal with billing!!! They make mistakes, lie, you sit on hold for HOURS waiting to talk to someone. I have had to deal with them for the past 5 years, because I couldnt find a pediatric MS doctor closer. For over 5 years, billing has me in tears EVERY time. If you have insurance, they won't even let you pay your bill in cash to keep it from going to collections while they try and fix their mistake!!! After 2 YEARS of no bill, I got one yesterday for 2,700.00 dating back 2 years ago!!! PLEASE LISTEN, they have been a nightmare from day 1. Today I am getting a lawyer.”
“I saw doctor ruggles first then ended up with two different doctors and I think they are the most non information doctors I have ever been to I am completely disappointed with the information I gave them and also the staff never called me back with any information about meds that had been sent to my pharmacy I wish I could still continue with doctor ruggles”
“My appointment yesterday was informative and he answered all my questions and my dad's too. He was very professional but empathetic at the same time.”
