“Stella is a gift to this world. To simply call her a health care professional or a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner would be a disservice. She has a warmth to her that can bring down the most stubborn of walls. You will find yourself becoming more and more comfortable with each session as she strikes the balance between challenging you and encouraging you with aplomb. Stella truly cares for her patients and with that comes some trade-offs. There is a chance that your appointment will start slightly later than scheduled but it is a direct result of Stella going the extra mile with her prior patients. If you’re able to be a little flexible, it is well worth the wait. As for communication and things falling through the cracks, I would encourage patients — both current and potential — to recognize that Stella is a one-woman army building out a practice so some patience and grace would be well-placed.
