“I recently had a consultation with this practitioner and, unfortunately, did not find it as helpful as I had hoped. Much of the guidance provided felt quite general and similar to information that is readily available online. During the appointment, I shared my concerns in detail but was told that because these issues were not present in childhood, a clinical diagnosis would not be appropriate. I was seeking a more thorough evaluation and potential treatment options, so this response felt somewhat dismissive of my current experiences. Additionally, I was advised to use strategies such as sticky notes and lists to manage my concerns. While these tools can be helpful in some contexts, I was hoping for more comprehensive, professional guidance tailored to my situation. Overall, I did not feel that my concerns were fully addressed, and for that reason, I will not be continuing services with Lifestance Health.”
