How likely are you to recommend Lyte Psychiatry Dallas?
“I cannot recommend Light Psychiatry. Mental health care is something people seek when they are already vulnerable, stressed, or trying very hard to get help. That makes reliability, honesty, communication, and basic professionalism absolutely critical. My family’s experience with Light Psychiatry has left us deeply concerned and extremely disappointed. There have been serious issues with communication, billing, accuracy of information, and how concerns were handled. Instead of feeling supported or taken seriously, we felt dismissed and left to sort through problems that should never have happened in a mental health care setting. Before trusting this provider with your care, please do yourself a favor and read the one-star reviews carefully. Do not just skim the recent positive reviews. Look at the detailed negative reviews from real people describing what they went through. The pattern is alarming, and my experience does not make me think those people are exaggerating. For something as important as mental health care, this is not a place I would recommend to anyone I care about. Please be careful, ask questions, document everything, and trust your instincts if something feels wrong.”
“My psychiatrist left the practice and they replaced her with some man who doesn’t know what he’s doing in the office. I was prescribed a controlled substance that helps with my panic attacks/anxiety. I paid for an appointment for him to tell me i need to be referred to a specialist and that if i need to continue to be prescribed controlled substances he would need a urine test. I never was told this by my last psychiatrist that was in the same practice as him same location! Not to mention he was late almost 15 minutes to my appointment. This is not his first time so I will be reporting him as well. My panic attacks are very severe and for me not to be prescribed any medication this appointment is very frustrating. I do not recommend this place at all specially since the woman has left the practice. This man is going to give you the run arounds about your own medication. Stay away from this place 0 stars!!!!! His name OLUWATOYIN AWE i believe”
“Lyte Psychiatry is a wonderful place to go for mental health care. From the website to the office, and everyone who works there is very friendly and professional. Dr. T is my psychiatrist and I really enjoy being able to speak to him. He is a great listener, and he is also very understanding, and he has a good sense of humor. You can tell that he enjoys helping people because of the way that he presents himself. I’m very comfortable with him and the entire office is very welcoming and warm. I highly recommend Lyte Psychiatry for anyone who is looking for mental health care.”
“I was a patient at this practice for approximately 8 telehealth visits, and the doctor was late to every single one — anywhere from 15 to 45 minutes. With telehealth, there is no commute or in-office chaos to blame. There is simply no excuse. My final appointment was at 9am, the first slot of the day. He didn't join until 9:15, and by that point I was already driving to a 10am appointment. We rescheduled to 9:30. When I logged back on 9:30, I was told he was with another patient. This practice does not accept my insurance, so I was paying $185 cash out of pocket per visit. When I requested a refund after my final experience, I was met with complete silence — no response through the client portal, no text, no call, for over a week. Eight visits was far more grace than this practice deserved. Patients seeking mental health care deserve reliability and respect for their time. I found neither here.”
