What patients say on Google

“I was disappointed by my experience at this office. The reception staff just seems like the hate their patients and jobs, it’s always awful to have to contact them or go in person. While waiting for my appt I listened to the receptionists eating at the front desk, watching loud videos on their phone, and having personal conversations. In a mental health practice, this came across as unprofessional and insensitive to the environment patients need. I’ve also called once in a state of distress on my meds and the front desk staff was so uncaring and rude it could push someone over the edge. Why do you even work here? I’ve also spent long periods on hold trying to reach the office in the past, so seeing staff occupied with personal activities instead of helping patients was especially frustrating and seems to explain long holds. The front desk is the first impression of the practice, and patients deserve a professional, respectful experience from the moment they arrive. There’s so many caring people out of work right now that would love to have a job like this, it’s frustrating this is acceptable and gives a bad name to the doctors there who have been very good and caring, albeit often late to appointments. I truly hope this practice can make the changes needed before bad things happen to someone because they don’t care.”

“After an initial new patient visit, which went fine, they completely dropped the ball! If you are desirous of a good working relationship with your provider that only requires outpatient, go elsewhere! They prescribed medicine. They didn’t do the prior auth required. It took several weeks and 3-5 calls to finally get the meds. No f/u appt. Only 2 return calls and that was after pitching a fit. No portal access to communicate with provider either. That is my experience. I do NOT recommend. Thank God I’m not majorly depressed or have suicidal thoughts. SCARY for mental health practice. Very sad!”

“Rebecca Ellen is great and if you end up going here, I highly recommend her. That being said, I absolutely do not recommend this place. I was a patient for 6 years. The women at the front desk and on the phone are unprofessional and rude. They don’t respond to voicemails even to the after hours emergency line. I was treated as a new patient and refused my medications after 6 years because I hadn’t had a visit in 6 months, a policy that was in no way communicated to me. I then tried to make a new patient appointment which was cancelled without communication because I didn’t complete paperwork that was never sent to me (that could have been if any of my calls were returned), and when told it was the reason my appointment was cancelled, they refused to resend or reschedule my appointment. Tl;dr the doctors are great (in my experience) but the rest of the staff and their policies are not conducive to improving your mental health and might actually drive you crazy.”

“Maxine at the front desk is awesome! She's friendly and made me feel at ease right away. She even remembered be a week later! Just started with my therapist, and I'm hopeful/confident that I'm in the right place!”
