“I am sitting in my car devastated that I was turned away from an appointment I’d had for weeks. It was highly anticipated as well as time sensitive. I arrived almost an hour early and sat in my car. I thought what if I go in there and there’s no appointment on the books like that other time, and Lo and behold. They told me to come back in two weeks. I guess a referral was too much to ask for because the apology didn’t help at all. Someone comes to you, in distress, and your solution is another meaningless appointment card.”

“There are genuinely good people working in this space. However, my experience with my case manager and therapist, named Eric and Alejandro... Well, it was not pleasant. I received no help whatsoever. My case manager was more concerned about having me sign off on a quarterly review, completely oblivious to my mental and emotional state in that moment. I texted Alejandro some fairly disturbing things, which I received no response to, which I believe is illegal, under the circumstances. He was legally obligated to let someone know, in that situation. The overall supervisor of that office wasn't exactly helpful, either. I forget her name, but I think it was Sharon, or something? In arranging a meeting with her, and telling her that I no longer wished to continue services through that office, she responded in a certain tone... "Well, I guess you won't be meeting Deborah anymore." As if she were exerting some sort of power and control over me, and taking something away from me. That was after I said to her, for the 4th time, "I no longer wish to continue receiving services here. Please stop billing my insurance." That being said, both Deborah, and Bryon who work in that office?... Spectacular people. I was very glad to have met them. They are genuinely compassionate, and they care about people. I can't say the same for every single other contact I had in that office. The overall supervisor of this place really needs to get their house in order. Loudoun County is one of the wealthiest in the entire country, currently at the number 2 rank. This office is a downright embarrassment to our entire region.”

“I appreciate this place SO MUCH! I got blessed with a WONDERFUL therapist Alison , as well as an amazing psychiatrist Dr.Kutty. His nurse Becky is amazing too!! The ladies at the front desk are always very kind and every person I have encountered from the whole intake process, down to my clinicians have been so helpful and always with smiles on their faces. These are the types of people we need in these facilities!! I mean I sincerely feel as though they care about me and my mental stability. They take the time to truly evaluate your situation and get to know you so they can help to get you your life back together and back on track. You don't find service like this everywhere....I can't speak for everybody in the office BUT I do want to acknowledge the front desk Admin, Alison,Dr.Kutty, Ms.Becky, and even the women who started the process with me. They made me feel at ease and were very gentle with me and my situation. Even on my worst days, I leave out of there with my head held high praying for better days and knowing they are coming!! Thank you for being there for me!!❤”

“Much love for the staff! My therapist feels very genuine and is very compatible with my personality. I'm not sure what they do outside of Family Counciling and Therapy so I can't comment on substance abuse or psychiatrists details. The groups are alright but I'm a rather Shy person so I feel more comfortable with one on one appointments. I find it revealing to vent and talk and open up here for my Therapist is really good. She's empathic, relatable, kind, stubborn, really good at communicating and coming up with solutions and is really good at explaining her thought process, and overall understanding and warm. I can tell she has a kind soul and loves talking with people and has worked hard to be able to get where she is where she can support herself by doing what she loves. I can tell she isn't in it for the money but rather using this as a platform to help people. We frequently hear that “If Therapist do it because they care shouldn’t want money!” But I feel that is very ignorant way of thinking. No matter how much “love” doing something if you can't use it to put food on the table and keep an roof over your head you'll have to find a job elsewhere that makes you feel miserable and you'll never have time to do what you want to do.
