What patients say on Google
“All These 1☆ Reviews are really telling on themselves. Of course people court ordered to see a counselor are going to hate seeing a counselor. 🤣 You can't handle the truth! Lori has been treating me for years and she is, hand down, the best, most honest and trust worthy counselor you'll ever meet. She will tell you what you need to hear and hold up a mirror for you to see yourself in a different way. Thank you Lori for all that you do for so many people. You are a hero to more people than just me!”
“Lori is an amazing therapist and one of the best supporters ive had outside my immediate circle. She has always been there with solutions and help to any situation I came to her with. I had her in high-school when I was struggling with some family and life issues, and then I made the mistake of thinking I didnt need therapy anymore. A few years later I realized I needed to get back into it, and I went to countless different therapists and offices trying to find one that fit when I decided to look for Lori again 10 years after I saw her last. Lori knows the ins and outs of my life in a way no other therapist even cared to find out about, I have improved greatly during my years with her and I cannot say enough good things. I breathed a big sigh of relief when I was finally able to see her again.”
“Now that both my children are aged out of the system I feel free to be able to write a review. I was court-ordered to work with this reunification counselor from November 2022 through August 2023 during a custody matter that involved allegation of parental alienation. I was not given the option to choose another provider at the time. During the process, my ex-husband transported the children to and from all sessions and participated despite being central to the alienation concerns. In one joint session shortly before our final hearing, he stood up, raised his voice, and behaved aggressively toward me. The situation was not addressed in the moment. Afterward, I was informed by my counselor that she claimed the incident did not occur as described. She did not know I have an audio recording of that session. Following review of the recording, the GAL recommended discontinuing use of this counselor, and the court order reflected that. After the court ordered that she no longer be involved, an additional appointment was scheduled for my daughter at my ex-husband’s request. The counselor was informed she was no longer authorized to see my children before and the appointment was ultimately canceled. I also experienced instances where what was communicated to me during sessions about how to continue with the courts differed significantly from what was later reported to the GAL. The reunification process for my family was ultimately deemed unsuccessful. Families entering reunification counseling are in vulnerable positions and must be able to rely on consistent communication, accurate reporting, and strict adherence to court orders to ensure the best possible outcome for the children involved and mine were failed by this process.”
“Been working with Lori long since 2018. She has helped me grow as a person and gave me confidence that I never had. She is professional but also has compassion for patients in a way I’ve never seen from any other counselor. I would disregard any negative reviews since some people can’t handle hearing the truth. And Lori doesn’t lie to make a patient happy she challenges them so they can grow and become better.”
