“I was hesitant to take medication after a previous doctor prescribed me zoloft (SSRI for unipolar depression), however with a name like Lori Birdsong I knew she would take proper care of me. We had an intake appointment (in 2020), she later diagnosed me as bipolar, and my mood stabilizer (instead of an SSRI) has helped so much. After years of being let down by doctors it was nice to find one that actually cares. She's flexible, always responds, and genuinely cares patients. The 1 star reviews seem confused so I had to leave one of my own.”

“Seem like the ones putting down 1 or 2 stars don’t like the fact that she is there to help them and they no more then doc. She does very well with responding to you if you have any issues. Also with the Va she understands very well how much our mental health means and she has been great to me great doesn’t describe what she has done for me! I came from a dark place and have been with her since she saved my life and now I have a beautiful one that I can manage because of her! I hate seeing people who don’t want to be taken off one or whatever but you come you her for help! Help is what she gave me and also my life I know have my beautiful wife and kids if it wasn’t for doc I wouldn’t be here myself! I appreciate everything she has done and still does if I need her she’s there.i can’t say enough about her except thank you so much! She’s caring consider it and has that mother’s touch. I wouldn’t change for anything. Anyone reading this and needs Help please contact her office don’t go anywhere else unless you want to be judged and not taken serious. “The fact that Dr. Birdsong has a rating below 4 stars here is APPALLING & CONFOUNDING to me. She is, hands-down, one the most compassionate, considerate, understanding & attentive doctors in her field. Perhaps some people were disgruntled or annoyed bc she wasn't accepting new pts when they posted their reviews? Whatever the case, the poor reviews prove that pretty much everything one reads on the Internet must be "taken with a grain of salt", bc Lori Birdsong is an EXCELLENT doctor.”
