“Lonestar has shaped me as a person. Brandon and Jen are amazing directors and really know how to keep a safe environment! Monica my therapist has been one of the best therapists I’ve ever been with!! She really cares about her job and genuinely wants the best for her clients. Paige, Reagan, Trey, and Bree are the best techs u could possibly have! They love and care about the clients here and they have made me a better person for not only myself but my family. Bess is a great case manager but also an amazing human being. I love this place so much and I highly recommend Lonestar! If u need help come here PLEASE. Damiana and crystal are both super sweet nurses and I love them to DEATH they helped me in any way that they could and I appreciate them so much for being there for me at my worst times. Lonestar Mental Health cares about your mental health so much. They WILL help you in this difficult journey”
“These last 45 days have been some of the hardest and most healing times I’ve ever had arriving to lone star I was terrified ! Simply because getting treatment is a big deal I wasn’t sure of the company or community I would be throwing myself into but wow was it the best decision I’ve ever made. To begin the staff and nurses/psychiatrist were some of the most genuine people I’ve ever met it’s very rare you go to a mental health facility where the employees gentility care for the health of the clients and care deeply for their job. The employees themselves have been hands down the best part of this stay! They’ve allowed me to authentically express who I am while comforting me in ways that allowed me to be vulnerable with my faults which is such a big deal when it comes to healing! Secondly the facility itself is very nice and always clean and provided some of the best meals I’ve had thanks to the chef! The company’s leaders Jenifer and Brandon were the most open minded and helpful people ever they consistently listened to the clients and cared deeply about our input and ways the facility could be better! There was never a complaint of mine that went ignored which I am extremely grateful towards. If you’re having second thoughts on coming to lone star let me be the first to tell you JUST DO IT! This was by far the best treatment I’ve ever gotten and will hold this place very dearly to my heart ! Lone star became a home away from home and I will never forget the great hospitality and kindness lone star has provided me! They give you all the tools you need to be successful it’s just up to you to actually do the work! If I weren’t healed I’d happily do this treatment again but after just 1 stay I know I am ready to take on the world so to that I say thank you lonestar”
“I’ve had a genuinely positive experience with LoneStar Mental Health. From the very beginning, the staff has been welcoming, professional, and attentive. It’s clear that they truly care about their clients and take the time to understand each person’s unique needs. The therapists are knowledgeable and compassionate, creating a safe and comfortable space to talk openly. I never felt rushed or judged—just supported and heard. Scheduling has also been straightforward, and the team is responsive when it comes to questions or concerns. I also want to mention Ryan MacDonald, who played a big role in helping me get connected with LoneStar Mental Health. His guidance made the process feel much easier and less overwhelming, and I’m really grateful for the support. What stands out most is the level of personalized care. They focus on practical strategies and meaningful progress, which has made a noticeable difference in my overall well-being. I would absolutely recommend LoneStar Mental Health to anyone looking for thoughtful, high-quality mental health support.”
“Just left the facility. I had a great experience. Nursing staff was on point, i tried giving them hell and they just showed me nothing but love and support. Techs were all super cool and understanding, through every step of the way. Therapists were really good and it was super beneficial, and case manager was on point from start to finish. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to go seeking professional help in a safe and homestyle environment. Chef was also amazing, great food everyday. Thank you (cussing was involved with my healing, and the occasional slur. They handled it very well. De escelation of high intensity situations were also on point, by all staff)”
