What patients say on Google
“We saw Dr. Burch for my son’s care and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. Dr. Burch consistently seemed uninterested during our visits — appointments felt rushed, and there was little to no engagement with my child, which matters a lot when you’re trying to build trust with a young patient. The front desk staff also made our visits uncomfortable. We noticed a clear difference in how warmly patients were greeted depending on who they were, and as a Black family, we often felt overlooked compared to other patients. We ended up switching to a different location and provider, and the difference has been night and day. Our new doctor is attentive, warm, and has wonderful bedside manner with my kids. I’d encourage other families to look elsewhere if you want a practice that treats every patient and family with equal care and respect.”
“Our recent visit was extremely disappointing. Although my children are fully capable of calming down with proper support, the staff did not give us the opportunity to help our child regulate. While my spouse was calmly explaining the procedure and reassuring our child, both the nurse and the doctor grabbed our child and attempted to force compliance. My spouse had to tell them to release our child. This approach felt rushed, unnecessary, and showed a lack of training in working with involved parents and children who respond well to calm guidance. We expected a much more patient and child‑centered experience.”
“Dr. Burch is the best doctor I’ve ever been to, and I been to a lot. He takes his time and hears you out all the way before explaining and advising which is very refreshing. I always feel acknowledged and taken care of when I’m seen there. All 3 of the nurses are wonderful and beautiful! They do such a good job at making me feel welcomed. Especially nurse Erika! She’s my fav! Super professional and jolly. Always in the best mood and highest spirit. Thanks Lone Star!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟”
“Jacob Burch is a phenomenal peditrican. He checks everything and is blunt and honest about concerns, and I love he doesn’t sugar coat thing. You don’t find doctors that are attentive to detail and educate you. Thank you for bringing awareness to things and telling me why it’s important.”
