She gets to know them personally and I have found that to be a very rare quality nowadays. Most MD's, NP's, etc. treat their patients like cattle. They squeeze as many patient's into each day as possible in order to make the most money that they can. They make the patient feel like their well- being is not important. Based on my experience with Althea, we have moved the healthcare of many of our family members to Locust Grove Family Medicine. I have had several primary care providers in my lifetime and have never had one to express the care, concern and time that Althea does! “Look at “lowest rating reviews” and it’s 10x worse. This actually is the WORST place I have ever been to in regards of doctors offices or anything related to medical. The office staff is SO rude. When you call they are rude— actually was hung up on the first time I called trying to ask a question. I have gone back and forth with them for over a month trying to get my prescription. They do not care about you at all, they are there to get a paycheck and get you out the door. They really do need to make a 0 star rating or even lower for places like this.”

“I waited to get an appointment after reading the reviews regarding this doctor, after finally getting a appointment with the doctor office I had to see her nurse aid, who was kind of ruff to be honest, she never looked at my knees just prescribed me some medicine. The young lady that took my blood pressure was new. Kept having to change the equipment because she didn’t know how to use it. Another nurse came in and told me that she was new so she went over the same question again just very unprofessional. I will be changing to another doctor that probably won’t even care as all the doctors in Atlanta, Georgia seems to only want the money, not the care of the patients.”
