“Oh my lord- I have been seeing Eddie since about 2017 or 2018, I believe. I HONESTLY cannot put into words how much he has impacted my life. There are no words to describe the extent of how incredible he is, and I wish there were, so people could understand- but I am so overwhelmingly thankful that I am one of the lucky ones who understands his characteristics and the person he is. Eddie is definitely on my top five list of the most amazing people I have ever met, and I am NOT just saying that. That comes from the bottom of my heart and soul. Even just seeing his face when we begin our sessions makes me feel calm and "at home". I cannot explain the feeling, but I am so happy I am someone who gets to experience it. It makes me feel upset for all of the people out there who don't get the chance to work with him because he has changed my life that drastically. I met Eddie while I was in rehab. He was conducting the "family therapy sessions". The first day I met him, I was sold. He is, without any exaggeration, the most knowledgeable, compassionate, and empathetic therapist (and man in general) that I have ever met in my 34 years of life. He has no idea how much he means to me and my life. He saved me. If it were not for Eddie, I know I wouldn't be alive today. I could cry every time I think about how wonderful he is! Eddie always has the perfect response or knowledge/advice to share and has never left me stuck or confused. He does not just provide therapy- he sees me, he understands me and guides me in ways I would never think of myself- and I'm positive MANY clients would say the exact same thing. Eddie always understands what I'm talking about and always validates me, whether I made a good decision or a bad one. I truly couldn't imagine not having Eddie in my life. I have been working with him for so many years, it just feels normal to me. It feels like he is naturally supposed to be in my life to keep me on track and keep me alive. The topics we have talked about in our sessions are topics I do not talk about with anybody else- from things in life that bother me, my own "issues", religion, philosophy, memories, information about social work/therapy (currently in school), and if I continue typing this review will never end. Edward is an angel in human form. I strongly think that everyone else who has experienced him would say the same. I told him he is never allowed to retire- I get emotional just thinking about a day when Edward is not in my life, but no way in hell am I going to let that happen! Life works in mysterious ways, and I never would have imagined how far I have come with Eddie when I first met him in 2017-2018. That is one huge reason that I am actually THANKFUL I went through a horrible addiction and some of the worst times of my entire life...because it brought me to Eddie. If I had not suffered for so many years, I would have never found my saving grace. And no, Eddie does not just "do therapy sessions", he sees your soul, actually understands your pain, and helps you find strength when you feel the lowest you've ever felt- a TRUE ANGEL walking among us. I am forever grateful for Eddie. I brag about him all the time to everybody I know, and I never stop recommending him to people. Now, I am getting emotional thinking about how absolutely incredible he is. If you ever have the opportunity to be a client at Lighthouse Emotional Wellness, I don't recommend; I INSIST that you see Edward. You will NOT regret it.
