“I had a therapist there that was all about routine and sticking to it strictly. My dad was sent to stl and died on the table during surgery and was brought back. Breathing tube in, 4 tubes in his stomach, was on 9 different medications to keep him alive and stable so my mom stayed with him in the hospital for almost 4 weeks. Not only was I picking up her shifts since we worked together, I was checking on her house and taking care of her dogs and checking on her outside cats while she was gone. (She'd come home 2 times a week to check on everything) when we found out my dad's release day, (it was literally the next day, very short notice) I decided to stay the night there the day before and give their house a mini make over, do all the laundry/ rearrange things carpet clean, etc. Just to make everything perfect for when my parents got home so they didn't have to worry about anything. I was 6 minutes late to my appointment and she told me I needed to get myself back on my routine becuase that's what will help me in life and to stay organized. I'm diagnosed OCPD and the hardest thing for me in my everyday life is giving up control/relaxing/going with the flow and forcing strict routine and shaming me for wanting to do something for my parents, when my dad almost forever died, I was done. I knew I was asking for another therapist after that session. To my shock and happy surprise, I got an email about 2 days later that she was no longer a provider there and that I needed to pick a new provider. I chose Alex. I had one appointment with him before I had issues with my insurance (not related to thrive) and had to pause my sessions. I can't wait to resume my appointments with him.”

“I held off on making a review for a while now, because I didn't see the point in it. I rarely review places to begin with. However, after what transpired this morning I feel there is a need for it now. In the beginning my time at Life Thrive went alright. I was given some advice that has helped me for what I came there for, but untimely I decided it wasn't for me. At first I thought ending therapy went well. It was as simple as canceling my next appointment and informing them I would be ending all services. Right? Wrong. The bill for my last appointment (the one I attended) was 4 times the amount I was usually charged. I tried to email them back, but got no response. So I called up the main office to get this resolved. According to the man on the phone it was a mix up with the insurance company and for me to ignore the latest Invoice. They would send a new email with the correct amount soon. I thought this was odd, but trusted it would be dealt with on their end. I was wrong. 🙃 A little over a month later that same 4× amount was withdrawn from my bank account without warning. Immediately I emailed them to find out what happened, only to once again get no response. This time with a message that said "mailbox full". That is just plain weird dumb for a professional company in my humble opinion. I called up the main office immediately after and explained in no uncertain terms this was NOT the correct amount and I would like my money back. They issued a refund shortly after that call, thank goodness. Suffice to say, I still am not pleased with what Life Thrive tried to pull. I would go as far as to call it robbery. tl;dr- I am unsatisfied with Life Thrive's attempted robbery.”

“The billing department has no communication with their therspists which leads you to getting charged ridiculous fees. They also bill your insurance incorrectly and try to charge you co-pays they you shouldn't have. They seriously have no idea what they are doing in the administration side of things which is sad because the therapists there really seem to be good at what they do. Stay far away from these money grabbers.”

“They deliver on what their psycology today article says and are not some sort of scam like some have said. They operate several Brainsway TMS coils and if you are looking for TMS services they are the ones who do and will provide it. However, I can say their mask policy during the pandemic was quite poor, and the phone system for setting up appointments can be very unreliable.”
