How likely are you to recommend LifeStance Therapists & Psychiatrists Temple?
What patients say on Google
“My spouse began treatment with LifeStance Health shortly after we moved to Texas in July 2025, and over the course of approximately eight months, our experience was consistently disappointing and concerning. Our first issue involved Dr. Suzan Quintana. My spouse felt uncomfortable during treatment and decided to discontinue care. After notifying the office, the receptionist informed the counselor directly, and Dr. Quintana proceeded to contact my spouse on her personal phone asking why she was leaving treatment. We found this highly inappropriate and unprofessional. The next concern involved Dr. Eric Meehan. My spouse was repeatedly treated as though she was abusing medication despite no history or behaviors supporting those assumptions. Concerns such as “mania” were raised without clear explanation or observable evidence. Medications that my spouse reported as ineffective were changed repeatedly, while the medication she stated had been helping was consistently resisted. When transitioning out of his care, she was left without medication for over a week. I personally attended appointments with Dr. Meehan and found his communication vague, dismissive, and lacking transparency when direct questions were asked. Most recently, another psychiatrist informed my spouse that a prescription would be filled on Friday. The refill was forgotten, leaving her without medication throughout the weekend. When my spouse contacted the office, clinical staff argued that they “do not work weekends” and implied that because the prescription was eventually submitted Monday morning, the situation was acceptable. For psychiatric patients relying on continuity of care, this level of inconsistency is unacceptable. Throughout our experience, communication from this office has been disorganized, inconsistent, and lacking accountability. My spouse has repeatedly attempted to advocate for herself and is now considering fully discharging from the practice due to the ongoing issues. What is especially frustrating is that my spouse achieved significantly better progress and support through outpatient treatment than she did during nearly eight months under LifeStance’s care. Due to the seriousness of these concerns, we are also reporting this facility and our experiences to the Inspector General for further review of the clinic’s practices, patient care standards, and administrative conduct. As an active-duty military Captain, I cannot recommend this office to military families or individuals seeking reliable psychiatric care. There are far better and more organized resources available through military and community healthcare systems. I strongly encourage prospective patients to carefully consider their options before trusting this office with their mental healthcare needs.”
“EXTREMELY PRICEY!!! I gave a 2-star rating because of cost. I’m self-pay, and my 1 hr and 20 minute visit was just shy of $400!! Even a regular one hour visit is around $375– but get this, if I go for only 45 minutes, it’s only $175. So for 15 more minutes, it costs me an additional $200??? I like the therapist a lot, but at these highway robbery prices, I don’t know if I’ll return.”
“Great 1st meeting with Kim! Looking forward to working with her!”
“My counselor was very pleasant, welcoming, and knowledgeable. I look forward to my upcoming visits.”
